On tap @ Brewbies 2014. Clear golden orange pour with a white head. Big time pineapple and grapefruit on the nose. Very pungent piney hops. Nice. Flavor is a touch sweet with some sugar and juicy pineapple. Nice bitterness of pine, resin, and grapefruit. Some fresh pulpy orange, too. bhensonb (15500) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 25, 2012
Tap at Sacramento Brewers Showcase. Pours hazy dark gold with bubbles. Huge stone fruit and citrus nose. Med + body. Flavor is unexpectedly evergreen hoppy. This is extremely hoppy - tho not harsh. Amazing stuff. jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 21, 2011

>> Clear orange pour with good foam. Nose is butterscotch, lemon verbena, ginger. Taste is bitter, herbal, celery, strange. Palate is thick, juicy.
Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Big grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with caramel. Medium-plus bodied. Nice bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with sweet caramel. A bit too much caramel. douglas88 (9513) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 5, 2014
On tap at ABV Public House. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A great sweet fruity nose. A rich great flavor: robust bitterness, candied fruit, super sweet oranges, caramel, toast. This is a huge very drinkable IIPA. Superbly balanced. Ibrew2or3 (8748) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 1, 2012
On tap at Lagunitas during SF Beer Week, what a week! It pours crystal clear copper with thin white head. The aroma offer up thick malt sweetened citrus like tangelo, grapefruit and a bit of mango blending into some spicy hops. Behind those notes are some resiny hops murmuring about. The taste has lots of spicy hops creating some fresh kitty liter box notes. The hops then move up in bitterness and become resiny with bitter pine hop notes to midway and into the finish. Very tasty IIPA that is just too easy going down. Damn good. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 15, 2011
Tap @ Toronado & Bistro’s IIPA Fest. Orange copper pour (really flat pour at Toronado) Big hop aroma. Good bitter hop flavor, touch of sweetness (Orange marmalade?). Good but not great in a den of all IIPA’s joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - FEB 15, 2011
On tap at the hopyard. It pours golden orange with a small white head. The aroma is really nice and grassy, piney, tropical, citrus. The flavor is sweet and potently hoppy with some light caramel and citrus, grass, pine. Surprisingly drinkable despite the ibu’s. There’s some serious new west coast IIPA’s coming down the pike!
