Draft at brewery in Petaluma. A tart lemon and strong citrus grapefruit skin. Lots of orange and the like. Taste is very tart with a citrus rind and skin complement. Very nice. onceblind (9663) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Hazy bronze with a thin foamy white head. The nose has a semi-faint sour/acidic citric tone with an earthy woody background. The taste is full yet medium bodied with a dry aftertaste. The beginning and middle are filled with a grapefruity citric acidity and pale malt body featuring some bactillic sourness. Bit of an orange juice acidity towards the finish. nimbleprop (8382) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - OCT 10, 2013
16oz goblet at Lucky Pie LoDo. Clear, dark orange with some lacing white head. Nose is interesting, like a soured tripel, grassy, pithy, wood pulp, lemon, grapefruit, vit C tablets. Flavor is the same, grassy, vitamin C, wood, candy sugar, rhubarb. Acidic finish. Not a typical gueuze.

Hazy dark amber color with creamy head. I dig the aroma, it’s a deep and wet cellar, with some cheese and feet, and some fruits. The mouthfeel is quite smooth; malt flavor, residual sweetness, funky character, some astringency; moderate acidity level. Bitter oranges in the end.
Atypical, probably strong, very good. It makes me think of some 8% Belgian Gueuze.
From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity, barnyard and grapefruity. Bitter, citric and fruity. Lingering dry bretty, mild citric. Smooth fruity. More of a barrel aged brett created flavour with the vanilla/oaky notes. Crisp fruity into the far finish. anders37 (26625) - Malmö, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2013

Tap: orange pour with a small, thick head. Aroma is toasted wood with caramel, funky barnyard, and a mild tartness. Flavor is tart lemon with a soft caramel sweetness and a very soft wood and vanilla note. I liked this beer, good flavor, lots of nuances, smooth tartness, and still easy to drink.bytemesis (8384) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 23, 2013

Tap: orange pour with thin off-white head. Funky foot and barnyard with a little sweet caramel and a touch of vinegar. Flavor is sweet-tart with some caramel and brown sugar mixing into vinegar and lemon. Barnyard funk carries through the entire tasting with a acid tang at the end. I’ll be ordering another, good stuff.
Tap. Pours cloudy amber with a medium beige head and great lacing. Aroma is lemon, Brett, funk, vinaceous, wood. Flavor is light sweet and light bitter, light astringence. Drying out and a bit woody on the finish. High carbonation level in the mouth.
