22 oz bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with an off white sticky head that leaves a ring of lace. Aroma is strong grapefruit/citrus and pine with hints of sugary caramel, hay and alcohol. The flavor is a good balance of sweet malt and bitter hops, not much alcohol taste. Medium body with an active carbonation to lighten up the sweet syrupy mouth feel. This is a nice IIPA, a purist could criticize at the use of hop extract but they pulled it off. zvikar (6198) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - NOV 1, 2009
@ a tasting, pours bronze clear with a nice white head, aroma of pine, grapefruit, mandarine and vanilla, bitter flavor with some herbs, hay, malt and vanilla, nice complexity, medium bodied, balanced and pleasing. RedSox2004 (1909) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - OCT 31, 2009
On tap at Daily Pint in Santa Monica. Pours a dark golden color with a billowy two-finger head and a ton of tiny little bubbles coming up from the bottom. The head leaves a nice bit of lacing on the side of the glass. Strong aromas of citrus hops with subtle hops in the background. Piney/citrusy hops dominate the palate with little support from the malt. Nice smooth medium body, carbonation almost seems hidden in the smoothness of the beer. Not too much bite either. Hops are strong in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2009 Bomber. Nice golden color with a nice white head with long lasting lace in the glass. Aroma is nice and hoppy to the nose. Taste is hoppy, but well balanced considering the label says 102 IBU’s. Finishes clean with no bitter lingering aftertaste. ultracake (42) - salem, Oregon, USA - OCT 29, 2009
22 oz from university market, 3.99, made from hop extracts, but still very good, tons of hops not to heavy but a good alcohol taste.

Found the 22oz. bottle at my local Specs in Conroe. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head and only drops of a lace. When poured the aroma lets you know this brew lives up to the Hop part of its name. There’s a burst of fresh citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, and floral hops as well as some sweetness from caramel malt. The same goes for the flavor. This is very hop forward; grapefruit, tangerine, pine, and floral. The bitterness lingers on the palate for some time. Medium bodied and enjoyable and the 8% alcohol doesn’t hurt. tomer (3565) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - OCT 29, 2009
At a tasting, thanks Zvikar, clear dark yellow colour, aromas of mandarine and honey, overpowering citrusy bitter hoppy. Extremely hoppy but also extremely one dimensional. wingman333 (333) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - OCT 29, 2009
Robust in aroma and taste, the smell can overtake you. Nice balance as it is spicy, bitter, and fruity all at once. Big white fluffy head. Alcohol not that noticeable. DSG (14921) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 28, 2009
