650mL bomber, KW tasting, matt7215s bottle, thanks Matt! Not sure where farmhouse comes into this. Pours a very nice deep golden orange, small white head. The aroma here is just awesome! As much juicy American hops as you could ever want, cascade, amarillo, etc. but very well matched by the ample malts. It just smells so incredible I could sniff it for hours. Flavour doesnt disappoint either. Very hop forward upfront, nice biting sensation on the palate, but theres that strong malt backbone coming in to balance things out. Nice! Spritzy finish with tons of hop bitterness. I wish I could buy this locally. Strong yet refreshing. Thanks again Jeff!

In short: A extra-citrusy caramelized IPA. Simple but wonderfully effective.
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed fresh immediately upon reception. Sent to me as a bonus by dmschefke, thanks a lot Dave.
The look: Glowing clear golden body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose is citrusy to the max, I could smell that juicy hopping for hours. The straightforward taste offers juicy fruity caramel and a whole lot of citrus in the finish. The beer is obviously mega-hoppy but the bitterness is mild, this is not an intense brew. In the the first half of my bottle I thought it was fantastic. In the second half of the bottle the caramel sweetness started to stick to my palate and I realized that the juicy citrusy hopping with a mild bitterness wasnt enough. Body is soft (too soft) and carbonation is smooth. To compare it to an old classic Id describe it as a Dreadnaught-Light. And to be called a Dreadnaught-Light is a compliment. Fresh, smooth, real, its all here, be yourself and make it a Dreadnaugt Light.

Copper with a fairly large white head. Aroma is mostly hops. Flavor is also mostly hops, especially at first. Finish has a slight malt presence, but is mostly bitter. Despite that, its surprisingly drinkable and not overpowering. Maybe Im a hophead, but I found it extremely pleasant.

Pours orange copper with a moderate white-ish head. Aroma is so much better than other Lagunitas beers it makes me laugh. Pine, grapefruit, orange, and a strong plant and herb presence; this is just wonderfully hopped. Flavor is a little more balanced with orange, sugar coated bread, toast, pine, and more fruity and less herbal than the nose. Finishes with a bit more pine, fading into, toast, and some burnt orangey dessert type thing. Moderately bitter. Medium bodied, drinkable, not QUITE as creamy as it could be. Great beer, very admirable and well made. I cant help but not be in the mood for it though...

Bottle. Aroma is pure hops, sweet, floral, resinous, piney. Appears light amber with a soapy off-white head that laces in thick rings down the glass. Flavor is very hoppy, piney and floral. Thin with not much malt body but a very nice sweet hoppiness. Light bodied, but a faint hint of phenolic booze. Nice.

Bomber, pours a clear copper color with a thin off-white head. Minimal lacing along the side of the glass. Hoppy aroma is a mixture of grapefruit, pineapple, and honey. Hoppy citrus flavor that also includes an interesting combination of sweet maltiness with a touch of sauerkraut. There is a nice amount of bitterness in the finish but I was expecting even more based on the labels description of 102 IBUs. Still a very nice selection. The 8% is well hidden.

Tasted this one at the brewery. Great big hop aroma with a huge grapfruit finish. Hearty malt backbone and a good heavy ABV. Hop lovers, this is your beer.

Light red good lacing, very clear. Great aroma. Dominated by cascade. Slightly citrus, and a little piney. Flavour is very citrus, and bitter. The cascade is prominant. Well balanced with a slightly sour finish. awsome IPA.

22oz - Copper colored liquid under white head. The nose tells you all you need to know: punishing hops. Pepper and basil on palate with a ginger like burn on sip. Sweet and spicy, too sweet actually. Sometimes more is just more.
