Draft at Tylers, enjoyed with JCB. Lovely big fresh hoppy nose... citrus and resin all the way. Slightly floral. Huge and tasty. Enough malt to keep the hops from being overwhelming. Sticky palate. Probably the best Lagunitas brew I’ve had. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2008
(draught) copper with off white head. BAM - citrus/floral hops aroma. The flavor is tone of citrus/floral hops but enough caramel malt to hold its own. Nik925 (795) - USA - OCT 26, 2008
Awesome hopbomb, Strong citrus, esp. lime flavors on exhale. Hop sweetness plays with your tongue while you drink it. A great hop showcase, the malt is perfect but only there to deliver the hop goodness. Its is hard to find faults in this one. Lagunitas needs to make this more available. ketchepillar (1198) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Good lacing. Aroma is great. Very floral and ctirusy. Lots of raw hop character. Tons of grapefruit in the flavor. Palate is a little thin and over carbonated. Good lasting citrus finish. hillfiiiiire (323) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Light copper color with a thin head and nice strong floral hop aroma. Flavor is quite sweet to balance out the high bittering. Body is a little thinner than I’d prefer. But otherwise, a quite good beer.

This is some tasty stuff. Dark amber color with a rather large white head. Aroma is very citrusy and simple. The flavor is dominated by bright citrusy hops and touch of caramel in the background. I dig it. illinismitty (2271) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 25, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2008 I needed something after Illinois’ shit ass game against Wisconsin. Bottle from Shawan Liquors. Pours a translucent amber with a retentive white head. Nice citrusy and floral hop aroma. Medium bodied with a good mouthfeel. Flavor of toffee malts countered by a nice, but not overly aggressive grapefruit bitterness. Semi-dry grassy hoppy finish. Well balanced and easy to drink. If you are looking for a puckering hop bomb, this is not it. Its any easy drinking, simple IIPA. Reasonably priced to boot. Good job Lagunitas Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - OCT 25, 2008
22oz bottle. Poured a clear dark amber with a nice white head. Nice fresh piney aroma, very nice. Nice bitterness, not too much with a little citrus in the back. Very good DIPA. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 25, 2008
Pours is a hazy orange with white head. Floral hops, grapefruit, citrus, caramel malt, bread, and grass. A nice tasting IIPA, but not incredibly complex. JustinFromAL (125) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - OCT 25, 2008
Draft at Tyler’s in Durham, NC. Pours a hazy orange amber with a two finger white head. Nice lacing, Sweet citrus and floral aroma. Nice palate cleansing taste, citric, good amount of hops, carbonation was a bit much for my taste but otherwise a great, great, beer.
