Honey gold pour, finger of frothy white, nice lacing. Nose is woody with a light funky note, ever so subtle. Bitter. Middle is noticeable alcohol, some yeasty earthiness, peach, and cedar. Finish is bitter, semi dry, lasting. jhamp9 (2008) - Corinth, Texas, USA - APR 17, 2017
Clear honey pour with a white head and sticky lacing. Aroma is citrus, dank, pine, and toffee. Taste is dank, pine, grapefruit rind, and a hint of toffee sweetness. Firm bitterness. Pine and dank aftertaste. Medium body. PugUglyBrewer (840) - - MAR 31, 2017
Red-orange hued gold color with a white head of creamy foam. Aromas and flavors so sticky and dank with notes chocked full of marijuana, pine sap, and intense ruby red grapefruit. The most aptly named imperial IPA on the market. Ronritter (875) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 19, 2017

Bottle from Liquor Barn. Lots of hops as advertised. I noticed a nice combination of spruce and citrus. Malt profile helps balance it out.

12oz bottle. Golden/orange pour. Head is resilient and last throughout. Aroma is split between hops and malt profiles. A mixture of pine, mango grapefruit and orange. Very decent DIPA. Wish I had better access to a supply. 102 ibu well established and integrated into malt and hop profile. tfontana (1184) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 22, 2017
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Appearance is hazy golden orange with prevalent noticeable floaties, fair sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with poor retention and nice sudsy lacing. Aroma is strong tropical fruit, orange, grapefruit, light candied sugar. Taste is initial strong sweet orange, tropical fruit with growing bitter resin presence mixed in for back half over malt backbone. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and mix of bitter and sweet finish. Overall, bountiful flavor and not the typical Lagunitas bitter profile. A nice departure and surprisingly light for the ABV. MattShizzle (618) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2017
Bottle - labeled simply as "Hop Stoopid." Golden to copper color - clear. Aroma is of both malt and hops. Really good - very hoppy but the malt still is noticeable too. Awktoberfest (415) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JAN 29, 2017
Fair. Kind of a blah aroma. Maybe a muted bit of pine. Tastes follows. Like a sweet, bitter, cloying pine comb. Remains on the palette. Not a smooth or real clean bitterness. Ok. But falls short. Mid range at best.

22 oz bomber. Pours a clear amber yellow with a billowy head. Aroma is strong mango, papaya, and grapefruit. Taste is mango and papaya with a bitterness on the middle of the palette. Mouthfeel is medium-thin. Overall, a decent DIPA but needs something to transition from the middle bitterness to the lingering flavors on the palette.
