UPDATED: FEB 8, 2014 First time around, I loved this thing! Maybe my tastes have changed a bit over the year, but it doesnt hold my attention like previously. It still have that intense bitter element, matched with a medium sweetness. Still a great IPA, but no longer a standout beer for me. Re-rate your beers! A very well done iipa. Light orange with fluffy head if you pour it hard. Amazing aroma of sweet oranges, pineapple, clean malts. Flavor is similar, definitely hoppy but delicate. Crisp with a finishing bite and whiff of alcohol. Hides the bitterness and alpha acid well. You feel it more than taste it

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2016 Another Lagunitas delivery. Poured from a bomber into my new New Belgium tulip glass. Nice presentation, a golden yellow perhaps veering to a light orange. Good nose but that is not why one returns to this beer. Thin head but I do not complain. Initial taste is really grand. Hoppy for sure but with an immediate tone of pineapple. Surprising. Slight hint of alcohol but there are plenty of IPAs with more than 8%. Call it it welcoming. I call it fine. Served really cold is really good. Oh yeah.

Clean good malts to give some body but all hop flavor. Some citrus, a bit earthy, and a touch pungent at the end. But light enough body to be crisp. Tons of hop flavor! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber, Wine Warehouse. Clear medium golden with a large off-white to beige head. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, orange. Taste: Citrus (indiscernible), pine, bubblegum, floral hops. Juicy, almost a little too sweet in the back end for me.

.65l bottle @Explosive. Pours hazy golden with low head. Aroma is pine, malts, citrus fruits, grape fruits, mango, exotic fruits, alcohol notes. Flavor is mostly same over ripped fruits. Well balanced beer with nice resiny after taste.

Great 2 finger head with a ton of crusty lace.. the brew is crystal clear sunset orange. The nose is surprisingly more fruity hoppiness than the expected pine or citrus... mango.. pineapple.. some lime zest.. very fruity. Flavor has a great smooth bitterness that melts seamlessly into lite pale malts with a ton of (again) fruity hops.. biscuity pale malts.. and tropical fruits.. lite body and abundant carbonation makes this dangerously drinkable.. piney essence on the finish.. Maybe a bit one dimentional.. probably actually. This is a great beer.. nothing is out of whack

Tropical fruit, spices and malt on the nose. Taste is big pine, ripe fruit and sweet malts. This goes in hot but the finish is quite dry. Very nice

Bottle. Darker golden in color with a frothy whitish head. Sweet and ripe garden fruityness in aroma. Bit of tropical vibes, some malty touch as well. Very filling, but scaringly easy to drink though. Not too sweet in taste, which is good. Bitter grapefruity and hints of sweet jammy notes underneath later on. Extra point because of the good drinkability.

Stoopid is as stoopid does.... Bottle from Cornelius. Pours clear deep gold, thin white head. Hops, tangerine, rubber, soap, pine Ob the nose. Loads of citrus on the taste but balanced by a sweet finish, and coriander, cardamom, mandarin orange. So much going on, and just so easy to drink. Bravo! I was denied this on draught at the Chicago taproom, but all is forgiven.

Bottle. Pours clear, dark golden in colour with nice white head. Aroma of pine hops (not very strong) and bit of malt. In taste lightly sweet from malt, hoppy with strong and very nice and short bitterness in the finish. The beer is dry, you drink it just like normal IPA, medium bodied and carbonated. Alcohol nicely hidden. Very good IIPA.
