16 oz. draft from 1808, pours slightly hazy (which clears) golden with small white head into a shaker. Some lacing, medium body, medium carbonation, and light pine aroma. Taste is wonderful rich citrus some pine, and slightly bitter finish. Had this back to back with sculpin. This one wins by a little bit. My new favorite IPA. The flavor palate of this beer is truly different. Hints of oats and grain, with a sweetness that I can’t explain, this is definitely worth trying. fraternie (1011) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2013
Aromas of orange zest, apricot and hops. Incredibly light on the palate, offering a blast of intense stone fruit and citrus, bready yeast complexity, and a finish of well-balanced, spicy hops that linger long and cover the ABV well. Sessionable, with a never ending finish. They should probably just keep making this one.... fr5ed (62) - Florida, USA - FEB 9, 2013
It's all about the pine. Smells and tastes great! Light honey and mostly clear, is a delightfully bitter IPA. beerdad (397) - Kansas, USA - FEB 9, 2013
bottled. pours clear dark gold, with a moderate foamy off white head. aromas of pine, spruce and hay. a crips bitterness with a touch of acidity. fairly light bodied. fizzy and bitter finish that lingers. its decent but no brown shugga.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2013 Crazy strong nose of citrus, pine, hops, skunk. Juicy and flavorful taste, strong hop bite without sourness/bitterness. Wanted more immediately after. JK (6201) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Gold color and light moderately carbonated. Sweet and sticky hops. It is dry and bitter, followed by some malt sweetness and a dry, flowery aftertaste. Full of flavor, and one of the more intense IPAs I have had in some time. EvanFriend (606) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 8, 2013
This is pretty good. Very citrusy and kinda a spiciness too. Beats the hell out of their Brown Shugga, which does indeed suck. swillguzzler99 (189) - Peoria, Arizona, USA - FEB 8, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours a translucent honey with a thick off-white head. Bitter, piney nose. Taste is of an IPA, but more subtle. Less feeling of a battery shocking your tongue (which isn’t necessarily bad). You get the bitter in the back of your throat if you gulp it, but it slowly fades away. Good. Another winner from this wonderful brewhouse. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - FEB 8, 2013
