Great hop aroma. Generous head. Above average mouthfeel. Good malt backing. Nicely drinkable IPA. Recent bottle from Premier Gourmet. lusikka (7817) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2013

Pours a clear copper colour with a white creamy head. Aroma of caramel, resin, cereal and hay. Flavour of caramel malts, resin, floral hops, grass and some metallic notes, as I’ve had on other Lagunitas brews as well. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a dry, floral, metallic finish. Somehow I don’t like these Lagunitas beers that much as the metallic notes tend to ruin the flavour.

Aroma has fruits, resin, some hops, caramel and biscuits. Flavour has resin, some fruity hops, some caramel and hay. A bit harsh finish with gooseberry bush and metal. Decent.
355ml bottle @ Super IPA tasting from a trade, thanks cp45olio (10472) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2013
Bottled 6th February 2013 - Pours clear golden orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of fruity hops, grassy notes, biscuity malts and crisp caramel. Taste is crisp and hoppy with notes of fruits, grass, biscuity malts and hints of stingy metallic notes. Finish is malty, hoppy and fruity with some biscuity notes. Quite balanced malty IPA.

Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of toffee, floral notes, some caramel and some sweet fruits. Flavor of mild fruits, some toffee, mild metal notes, caramel and resin. Soft carbonation, some sweet fruits on the aftertaste.
This beer is definitely a must have. It’s aroma and appearance alone make it a necessary buy. sm5561 (118) - Kansas City, Alabama, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Pours hazy gold with two finger white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is very nice with grapefruit and peach notes. The taste follows with a some malts in background. It finishes with a moderate bitterness. It has a nice feel, full body and a soft woolly texture. jrob21 (3774) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Intense grapefruit citrus aroma. Flavor is smooth and slightly sweet. A nice malt body to balance things out. Finish is slightly bitter and piney. Well done. Sorry it took me so long to find this one or else it would have been on regular rotation for a bit. gabbama (203) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Pours clear orange with a thin white head. Mildly sweet aroma of malt and citrus hops. Fairly balanced flavor with lots of citrus and pine hops and some bready malt. This beer anything but sucks.... 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Golden, fairly clear, thin to moderate white head, sudsy, sparce lacing, light carbonation.   Sharp pithy aroma, citrus peel, hoppy, smells just like a Lagunitas Strong Ale.   Big citrusy bitterness up front,
hoppy, with a moderate malt base.   Seems like a big Hoppy Red Ale.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finish is citrusy, lots of that orange pithy bits, and of course hops.   This seems like crappy a replacement for Brown
Shugga.   Sorry, but this is just like every other Lagunitas Strong Ale, decent, but nothing to write home about.
