4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear medium gold with a fluffy one finger white head. Really great head retention and awesome lacing leaving a nearly unbroken wall down the side of the glass.
Aroma is full of tropical fruit as is typical with Lagunitas. Lots of pineapple, tangerine, and mango with just a hint of bready malt and alcohol underneath. Not extremely complex but the citrus is very mouth watering.
A very juicy tropical fruit character on the taste that carries for a very long time. Tons of tangerine, mango, orange, and pineapple all backed up by a little bit of alcohol and bread. Bitterness is fairly mild for a double IPA and is just enough to balance out the sweetness. Mouthfeel is really perfect without any of the residual sugar all too often found in this style.
Overall, a really amazing IIPA. Extremely drinkable it feels more like 5% abv. Love the tropical, almost minty, hop character and the moderate bitterness. Definitely one to stock up on this time of year and one of the best from Lagunitas.
Klares Goldorange mit reichlich Schaum. Malzig, leicht süßlich, Karamell, fruchtig, Grapefruit, Zitrus, Orangenschalen, leicht harzig, etwas bitter. wilde_joost59 (86) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2017
Erg goed! Mooi schuim in het begin. Uit fles. Mooi flesje trouwens. Geur en smaak erg goed. Deze zou ik vaker willen drinken. Christos (5741) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUL 3, 2017

Piacevole cereale, fieno, legnoso, maltoso, mieloso. Caramello gradevole, erba, poi tanto altro che varia al variare della temperatura. Buona, discretamente complessa. Imbarazzante la bevibilità per 8 gradi. Finale medio-lungo, secco e piacevole. bufordsbest (12) - - JUN 21, 2017

Bottle pours clear deep golden, with small white head. Aroma real hoppy, fruity and grassy, nice. Taste with clear bitterness and light sweetness.. Rather soft carbonation, but full body. Nice IPA, wouldn’t have noticed the 8 ABV. Plovmand (8303) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JUN 19, 2017

From a 355 ml bottle poured in to a Snifter. Slightly hazy golden colour with a creamy off- white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, pines, caramel malts, honey, sugars, resin and toasted notes. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with resin, rich malts and caramel malts. A classical American IIPA. beer-yum (1706) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 15, 2017
Lemon and honey aroma in a golden pour. Hop forward balance with big sweet citrus body and sustained bitter finish. A big beer that goes down way too easy. Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2017
