COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dip beneath the flotsam of categories. Past nouns. Beyond exclamations! Down to the autological: words possessing the very property they express. Short is short. Sesquipedalian is long. Sumpin' has that thing on the tip of the tongue, and Easy just rolls off as easy as Sunday morning. Sumpin' Easy is everything we've learned about making hop-forward beer expressed in a moderate voice. Pale, cold, slightly alcoholic, and bitter. It's all we know.

12oz can from Steve's in Fitchburg. Paler than ipa pour, a bit hazy, which clears out over time. Aroma has citrus, sweet fruits, melon and some sweet candy. Taste is of sweet fruits, light pale malts, some chewy resin, some light graininess and some citrus. The melon/juicy fruit presence hit initially, but by mid-glass the dankness of the resin and bitterness of the citrus knocked it away. Less than medium bodied, the blend is good and there is little-to-no alcohol presence. Finishes well blended between the super sweet candy & melon, and the chewy dank citrus zest. Quite interesting, and quite tasty. 13.8

On tap at Ellyn's Tap & Grill in Glen Ellyn, IL., dispensed to a flight glass showing a hazed, light gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white froth, and sheeting spray as lacing. The nose was candy/jello-like fruitiness & sweetness, with citrus as lemon & orange, and a bit of stone fruit. Light to medium bodied, the taste was similar notes, with lively carbonation that cut the sweetness a bit, some tartness & tanginess, and a lightly sharp & lingering, citrus & rind-like bitterness that finished pleasantly dry. Nice sessionability with traditional, Lagunitas hoppiness.

Taster at brewery. Bright golden with skin of head, leaves sheets of lacing. Light fruity aroma turns into floral hoppt bitterness. Strong biscuit malts underneath. Easy is a good description. Light.

Can shared at CB. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Pungent orange and tangerine aromas, with some dankness and light pine as it warms. Clean and crisp on the palate, good pithy citrus, iyokan and bright tangerine notes on the palate. Super drinkable, good body and balanced. Great west coast pale ale.

16 ounce draft at Winking Lizard Peninsula. Big fluffy white head Plenty of film on glass. Smell of citrus. Taste is just enough hops. not over done. Little hoppy after bite that does not last. Overall this is a fine Pale ale.

Can. Gold pour. Nice white head. Aroma is strong peach and apricot. Flavor is bitter with notes of peach and apricot. Finish is slightly sugary sweet. Level of carbonation is high. For an easy drink I prefer 12th of Never. This one is good too though.

This had a fairly strong fruit flavor. Mostly it seemed like guava to me, which was a bit strange.

Slightly hazy light golden hue under a thick white foamy head. Bright citrusy floral bitter dank aroma that smells like every other Lagunitas hoppy beer, and that’s a good thing. Smooth wheaty flavor that’s a little bready with a toasty grainy linger at the finish, but the in-between is all floral and leafy fresh hops, a little citrus pith hops, and a lovely lingering finish. Really lovely, clean and complexly hoppy.

Tap to crowler can. Lightly hazy topaz with a film of foam. Aroma of resinous hop, citrus fruit mix and toast Tastes of pine resin covered Fruit Loops cereal and toast. Light body has medium carbonation and tends more towards IPA territory in it's hoppiness
