12 fl oz bottle. Pours deep amber/golden and with a lacing off-white head. Aroma is fruity, roasted malt and a dark caramel note. Flavour starts sweet and soon gain in loads of caramel malt, mild dark fruit notes and a slight liquorish flavour. Ends with a lingering caramel malt with a bit of hops adding some bitterness. An amber beer with a slight haze and a light brown head. The aroma is primarily of caramel, but also with ligth notes of hops and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of caramel and alcohol. The alcohol burn in the mouth - first on the tongue, and then in the throat. A nice Winter Warmer ;-) joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2006

Lagunitas rarely offers bad beers, but even more rarely they offer something outstanding. 270106 Leighton (22304) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2010
Tap at Sunswick. Pours a dark, cloudy brown with a substantial beige head. Aroma is heavy with raisin, fig, and caramel, with some light funkiness. Augurs a rather sweet experience. Flavor is super-sweet. A mix of turbinado and brown sugar, with more raisin. Hop presence asserts itself in the finish. Big body, thick and syrupy, good carbonation. The intensity of the sweetness sets this beer apart from the pack - for better or worse. I liked it.
