COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Clean, yet, dark copper color with fluffy white head of foam. Caramel, lightly herbal, sweet grapefruit, and dry pine on the finish. Sweet and dank with a cool story behind it to boot.

Bottle pours a clear and fairly carbonated amber with a one-half finger beige head and great sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet and sour, malty, earthy. Flavor is a strong, sweet, malty goodness. Mild to medium bitterness and a lingering aftertaste.

Gorgeous glowing mahogany with a cream colored head that disapates quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma of bread, candied citrus, cherries & alcohol. Bitter & sweet flavors are balanced masterfully in this one. Voluptuous feel on the palate. Very urbane Lagunitas brew.

0.355l bottle brought home from BarleyWine. Lots and lots of a big tall foamy almost fluffy head in this one! Off-white colored and under a cloudy almost copper amber body. It smells really nice. Lots of malty biscuity elements. Sweetish, red berry fruity and it just oozes American style barley wine this. Whom doesn’t like that? It’s as sweet and near sticky in the taste as the aroma suggested. Sugary, syrupy and definitely boozy! Warming. It has a really soft carbonation level and a good oily texture in the mouth. Bitter nuts combined with sweet biscuits, melon zest, alcohol and red berries I guess sums this one up quite nicely. Nice and classic in the taste, loaded with flavors. A nice sipper. 27.05.2015

Aroma sweet malt, orange candy, booze. Appearance is a copper with a sheet of head and lines of lace. Taste is caramel, biscuit, orange, pine. Palate is medium bodied with a bittersweet finish. Overall- interesting, kind of a DIPA / Barleywine.

bergstaden (2987) - Røros, NORWAY - OCT 18, 2016
Dark golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma - Malt body to support a hop profile that has fruity flavours and bitterness - The malt and fruityness goes into the finish - This was good

On tap: Dark orange. Sweet candy malt aroma, a lightly nutty and toasty malt flavor with a light citric note. Sweet and barley wine-y but not cloying at all.

Rien n’est en retenue dans celle-ci mais c’est tout de même très bon. L’alcool est trop présent à mon goût mais l’amertume est parfaite pour le style. C’était très résineux et très peu effervescent.

SHIG (4962) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 13, 2016
Draft: Poured a copper with a white colored head. Aroma was metallic and hops. Taste is light hops with a huge malt backbone.
