Aroma is filled with flowers and dried fruit. Taste is roasted nuts and bitter hops. A bit sweet with alcohol tones. NoDirection (30) - - JUL 9, 2016
To my taste, not the kind of IPA I typically enjoy - it's more about the bitterness than the hoppiness in this one. Glad I tried it, but not one I'd go for again.

Pours murky gold with a quick white head. Nose is west coast hops with apple and a little booze. Malts play a bigger role in the flavor than the hops and are surprisingly dry and bready. Alcohol is well hidden. Definitely rides the line with double IPAs and is quite tasty. Bricktop86 (844) - Moore, Oklahoma, USA - JUN 19, 2016
Pours reddish brown with a white head. Aroma is brown sugar, wheat bread, citrus and pine. Taste follows nose rondphoto (4383) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 4, 2016
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Fresh aroma of malt and light hops. Clear dark amber color, frothy two-finger tan head that stays, bubbly lace cobwebs. Taste is strong malt with some caramel that adds light carbonation and hops on the swallow, then moves easily to a long sweet and bitter finish that shows a little unsweetened tea. Big, but not heavy, but awfully strong for general drinking. I could buy it again.

Pretty good, not an IPA like I usually have but a "strong ale" which was dark and strong. Had a good initial taste with no heavy aftertaste

One of my favorite beers and wish it was available year round. The flavor is first bitter ( like a good IPA) then smooth and a nice pour with a good head. The taste is so smooth you cannot have just one.

Poured into wet snifter, heavy and mean yet smoooooove and delightful. It’s got the booze and you can taste it, but it’s still smooooooove amazingly. I’d like some more, thank you. skiatd1 (47) - New Hampshire, USA - MAY 8, 2016

Flaska på En Trappa Upp, premiär på Pitchers ölhak, Örebro. Klar mörk bärnstensfärgad med vitt skum. En udda, syrlig doft som är svårplacerad. Lite överkokt grönsakskompott och ättika. Medelstor kropp. Ganska stor klibbig beska. Granskott, kåda, kola, kakdeg. Inte alls vad jag förväntade mig. Ruskigt svårplacerad. Känns inte särskilt typiskt för Lagunitas, särskilt inte i den här tyngden. Lite för lätt, och lite för lite!
