Bottle. Pours reddish gold with a huge white sticky head. Aromas of sweet malt, pine and nuts. Aromas of pine, nuttiness, cut grass, sweet toffee malt, fig, coffee and resiny herbal tones. Wow! Slight oily mouthfeel, but otherwise deceptively light on the palate. Beautiful! weihenweizen (3831) - Charleston Area, West Virginia, USA - OCT 8, 2015
Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Clear light orange with no head. Aroma is some herbal hops, medium body, low carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is herbal hops and hints of alcohol. TEJA (3056) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 5, 2015
Big beighe head. Clear and solid amber color. Big and fresh hop aroma that really atacks you when opening the bottle. Big hop taste but with a finetunes maltiness. No caramell maltiness makes it fresh. Balanced bitterness and fine body. willisread (3350) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Bottle from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a clear copper with a small head that lingers for a bit then dissipates. Aromas of citrus, pine, peach and wood. Taste is more of the same with good bitterness coming through. Lots of sweetness on the palate, but finishes bitter. Not my favorite style, but solid. darb85 (281) - Canton, Michigan, USA - SEP 5, 2015
Amber brown with decent head. Smells amazing citrus piny nose. Caramel and molasses leads with citrus notes. finishes sweet and mellow with minor bitter lingering.

Pours a medium amber with strong citrus fruit on the nose. Strong initial bitter bite that intensifies on the back end with a very strong alcohol presence. I can taste some sweet malt, citrus & maybe a little syrup along with the bittering & flavoring hops. Intense & very well done. Oldschool_Mike (368) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 3, 2015
Bottle into snifter. Pours a clearish amber colour with a little off white head that disappears. Aroma is jammy fruit with a little spiciness. Taste is jammy fruit with some alcohol. This is a very nice beer. Dacrza (980) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - AUG 20, 2015
DATE TASTED: August 20, 2015 ... GLASSWARE: La fin du Monde... OCCASION: school prep wok--with The Desolation of Smaug... APPEARANCE: dark, amber brown body that is dense and imposing; head is off-white and creamy; lacing is impeccably dense and substantial... AROMA: a mellow suggestion of citrus, with a wet, biscuity malt balancing the promise nicely; flowery hints end the array ... PALATE: a coating, thick-as-molasses, warms the throat with a smooth, fulfilling consistency that could not further belie the 9.3 % ABV contained within it... TASTE: immediate impressions of a brown ale, dry, nutty as almonds or pecans, sugar, darker citrus, prunes, sweet and biscuit malts, and lighter citrus--mango and grapefruit, mostly... a strong, full-bodied, ale worthy of a snifter... OVERALL: High hopes for this one have not gone unmet--a powerful American answer to the Belgian and English strong ales that I so enjoy... the balance in its maltiness suggests a seasonal indeed, but this beer can thrive in any season that requires a beer of strength... by the second pint, a tingle is assured in the toes, with its strength surging...how this beer begs for a third bottle! what a blessing to live in a time when beer of this kind is available year round and across the country... I have little clue as to the meaning behind the name, but what a beautiful, bold, rewarding beer...
