Very good stuff here. Pours an amber with a small lacing head. The aroma is malty sweet with some bread. The flavor is very nice with a malt sweetness followed with a big hop hit. Very nice after taste lingers for some time. Finish is very dry. Another winner from these guys. sunnyridge (222) - USA - MAY 3, 2010
Yummy. Very deep brown amber with a thin foamy ring. Nice deep pineapple hop aroma and a nice balance of malt sweetness. Taste still manages to finish crisp and with a good bitterness despite a somewhat heavy malty sweet flavor. This is a really nice beer. It’s got a little something for everyone and still comes across as balanced, smooth and flavorful. Also noticed no trace of the big abv. Very nice work! jtclockwork (16831) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Quirky little ale. Caramel colored. Very bitter. Reminds me of an English E.S.B. Rated 8/3/08 HOPSHUNTER (742) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 2, 2010
Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized beige head. Loads of caramel in the nose also big notes of pine, grass, orange, light brown sugar, and faint tea. Mostly full body with a slightly oily mouth feel and average carbonation. Flavor has quite a bit of caramel, malty sweetness there is also a good amount of earthy, near spicy hop bitterness. Big notes of pine, grass, and alcohol with lighter secondary citric notes. Finishes with lasting bitterness. keith0718 (434) - Kansas, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Solid American strong ale. 9.3% ABV without being a syrupy malt bomb. Nice hops character reminiscent of an IPA.

Dark brown pour with reddish tints. The aroma is a little sweet with subtle hints of barely. The hops are really prominent. Better out of the tap then the bottle I think. portableparty (2366) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - APR 30, 2010
UPDATED: APR 13, 2011 Bottle to snifter. Pours clear dark amber with a soapy off white head that dissipates to a faint film and thin collar. Aroma is citrus floral hops and alcohol and ends with sugar malt. Taste is more the same bitter pine resinous hops and booze with sugary malts in the end. Palate is medium and sticky with solid carbonation and finishes chaulky dry. Solid American Strong Ale with a boozy kick. I like it! halfonit (1389) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - APR 30, 2010
Pours a nice clear deep amber color. Aroma is of centennial hops up front with some sweeter malts, apple, and some brown sugar in the background. Flavor seems to be pretty well the same. Has a nice sweet malt and hop bite in the end. rader58 (918) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - APR 30, 2010
Pours a dark honey brown. Aroma is soft with hints of brown sugar, dried cherries, and pine. Flavor is sweet with hints of pine, fruit, alcohol and bitter floral. 944play (422) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - APR 28, 2010
12oz in bordeaux glass. Clear reddish with low off-white head and some fine lacing. Pungent, alcohol-driven, resinous, zesty aroma, plus some caramel and sugar. Mouth-filling fruity hops, deceptively light body, and deliciously clean finish. Wicked cool stuff, inspiring in me a homebrew clone recipe.
