Pours clear orange. Smells of sweet hops and malts. Taste of toffee and citrus hops. Not sure what this is but it isn’t bad.. ElCapitan22 (363) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2015
Pours a very nice clear, copper color. It has very nice lacing, but minimal head retention. Smells hoppy, and a bit of caramel malt. Tastes very bitter and hoppy. My only criticism is that it finishes a bit too sweet. That being said, an excellent drink! tysongillmore (362) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - NOV 21, 2015
I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.

Bottle from Total Wine - Fort Myers. Pours red/brown with a small white head with alot of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, honey, and some pine. Flavor is grapes, pine, honey, black pepper, and burnt wood. Medium mouthfeel with some nice warmth. Overall this is really good. mcmisko (358) - New York, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Copper, nice head, lacing, not much smell. Sweet, smooth and slightly alcoholic tasting

Had this with MereLikesBeer. Poured a medium brown with tan head. Aroma was a good mix of hoppy and malt. Not quite as good as their IPA, but still very good.I would get this again.Cheers! Maltser85 (358) - Fargo, North Dakota, USA - APR 20, 2014
Pours a dark amber. White head. Not a whole lot going on. Pretty balanced. Some pine, some caramel, maybe a hint of toffee. Criz (358) - - APR 12, 2015
10oz draft at brewery. Pours a deep reddish copper with an off white head. Floral, grapefruit and toffee aromas. Medium high hopped with a semi dry bitter finish. Stuedmaster (352) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Pours clear orange-tinged red, slight head, no lacing. Aroma is vinous, herbal, earthy, caramel. The sweetness is well balanced by the copious amount of hops. Very rich, complex flavor, nice finish. I would consider this to be an Imperial Red IPA. This beer has some balls! chickenflea (351) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Ap - Pours with a frothy, three-finger thick, tan colored head and leaves a good bit of lacing on the sides of the glass. The beer is a brilliantly clear, concentrated amber color.
Ar - The aroma is a heady mix of malt, but mostly hops that is noticeable as soon as I start to pour this brew. Notes of candied orange peel mix with citrus flavored caramel toffees, some notes of apricot and even some tangerine notes. There is a tiny bit of alcohol in the nose as well, and when mixed with the citrus. A touch of herbaceous pine rounds out the aroma. Reminds me of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale.
P - The beer is hefty enough, as it tends to linger on the palate and even has a bit of stickiness to it.
T - The beer is sweet and malty up front, which really amplifies the fruity-citrusy hop notes. However the hops are the dominant note in this beer, with notes of red grapefruit, apricot and tangerine found up front. Towards the end an herbal, almost pine like, solid bitterness starts to take hold and lingers on in a long bitter finish.
O - And the beer is not so thick and rich as to keep this from being pretty drinkable. It has a definite warming effect like a trippel but with more hops. A very nice brew.
