COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the world’s would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patrick’s Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Aroma is filled with flowers and dried fruit. Taste is roasted nuts and bitter hops. A bit sweet with alcohol tones.

six pack 10.99. Excellent Double IPA. Sweet, citrusy, and strong. One of my favorite styles, and this Lagunitas offering is solid.

Good. I had a very small tasting from a friend. It was the last bottle so I couldn't get a good eval. It's definitely worth trying again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice sweetness that hides the high abv. Caramel and malts with a slight hop presence.

Pours dark copper with nice white head. Smell is hops, citrus, sugar and malt. Taste is sweet and hoppy at first then backed my a solid malt finish. Medium body, medium carbonation.

I normally don't love super bitter beers, but this is an exception. Very smooth and velvety, with lots of malty sweetness for balance. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours amber gold with off white head. Nose of spruce, nectarine, candied lemon, syrupy sugar and breadiness. Flavor is some dense syrupy honeylike malt with an assertive juicy apricot, tangerine and floral hop bite typical of any ASA. Slick, syrupy, smooth & silky mouthfeel. Pretty nice!

Clear amber with thin minimal head. Aroma is intoxicating mix of fruity hop and maple/brown sugar. Body is lighter than one might expect. Not overly sugary or alcoholic. Like a mellow light barley wine melded with an IPA. I am enjoying it.

Outstanding, Tastes more like an Imperial IPA rather then a strong ale to me. Great copper color, bitter hop aroma and flavor, a little citrus, and even a little malt hiding inside.
