Tap at Mudville 9, NYC. Awesome, awesome, awesome. I’d probably classify this as an IPA. Pours orange-gold with a medium, pure white head. Very sweet, citrus fruity aroma with loads of caramel malts. The primary characteristic of this beer is a sweet, sugary maltiness, but the hops are undeniable. Some pine and resin, but light. Medium to full in body with average carbonation. Alcohol gives the beer some nice depth but is not overbearing. Loved this beer. Rasmus40 (20643) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2013
Bottle from Voldby. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, heavy malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030913 fiulijn (20492) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 5, 2007
Nice amber color, hazy. Very good malt, both the aroma and flavor; strong mouthfeel, just showing some alcohol, extreme but well balanced. Good hopping. Very good. Theydon_Bois (19494) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2013

Gbbf 2012. wow now that is good. Like a hoppy barley wine. Some overt sweetness true. The aroma is magical. Promises so much. Some burn and heat on finish. But its pretty beery good. Lovely beer. A sipper. saxo (18301) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - FEB 21, 2008

12 oz. bottle, pours golden amber with a small head. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, toffee, and sugar. Flavour of caramel, brown sugar, oak, and a little bit of hops. Excellent. Oakes (17668) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 16, 2006
Draught: Archer Ale House, Bellingham, WA. Bright copper colour. The aroma is slightly floral with brown sugar notes and woody hoppiness. Bitter, woody hop character with slightly chewy brown sugar malts. The finish is a bit astringent and alcoholic. Not really sure where they’re going with this. It shows me nothing new and isn’t particularly palatable. These flavours and aromas are better served as instruments in an orchestra rather than being the whole band.
