COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brewed this especially bitter ale in dedication to all the worlds would-be astronauts, in remembrance of the 2005 St. Patricks Day Massacre on the Brewery Party Grounds and also in joyous celebration of our 20-day suspension that following January. Do the crime. Do the time. Get the bragging rights. Cheers!

Draught: Archer Ale House, Bellingham, WA. Bright copper colour. The aroma is slightly floral with brown sugar notes and woody hoppiness. Bitter, woody hop character with slightly chewy brown sugar malts. The finish is a bit astringent and alcoholic. Not really sure where theyre going with this. It shows me nothing new and isnt particularly palatable. These flavours and aromas are better served as instruments in an orchestra rather than being the whole band.

[email protected],Copenhagen. My 1400th rating. Pours hazy amber with a creamy lasting head & lacings. Aroma & taste have loads of fruity hops - pineapple/grapefruit, & a sweet barley/caramel note. Full & smooth palate. Fresh & crisp. Bitter lasting end. One of the better Lagunitas brews!

Draught, 9.97%. Cloudy dark red colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite roasted, quite malty, and quite bitter. Malt syrup notes. Rather slimy mouthfeel. Vinous aftertaste. OK beer, but a bit rough around the edges.

Ambery copper color. Little head, but a tendency towards minor lacing. Smells like sour grapefruit mixed with pine. Thats really a good smell. Theres an underlying malty sweetness, but the hops cover that quickly. Smooth, with medium body. Just delightful on the tongue. The hops persist from palate to esophagus.

Bomber poured a clear amber with a large lasting ivory head. Aromas of light carmel, pine, some grassiness and some light citrus notes. Palate was light to medium bodied and slightly resiny. Flavors of herbs, pine, light carmel and grapefruit rind with a dry lingering bitter finish.
