4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355ml bottle. Clear golden with two finger white head with pretty good retention. Dank hoppy aroma with almost diesel/gasoline notes, citrus, plenty of mango, grapefruit, light pine, mixed tropical fruits and a light boozy touch. Taste is plenty of dank hops, mango, citrus, mixed tropical fruits, light grapefruit and sticky hop resin with a light prickly alcohol overtone. Medium mouthfeel, medium carbonation and generous sticky dank fruity hop aftertaste.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Easily the best imperial IPA I’ve tried, difficult to imagine how they managed to get this dialed in so perfectly drinkable. Pours clear golden with a nice cap of dense clingy white. Aroma is full of citrus, fruit, malt and slight booze. Flavors are as balanced as I could hope. The hop bitter is never biting or rough, the malt is present and balanced, but not overly so like a 90min. Finish is not too dry and quite clean. Remarkable stuff this.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Moderate to heavy roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate to heavy pine for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with notes of light and dark dried fruits and alcohol. Head is small, frothy turning wispy, slightly off-white, with slippery lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Color is almost clear medium amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and slightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet, lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily, with a soft to lively carbonation and finishes moderately alcoholic. A powerful DIPA with perfect balance between malt and hops.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at CK Diggs. Pours clear golden orange, white head. Aroma is orange, lemon, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, some dankness, not as much as I expected. But still very noticeable. Flavor is way more dank. Boozy, orange, mango, grapefruit, bitter pine, orange rind. Good. I quite like it.

Double Waldo Chug for Jack’s birthday. Golden, stanks of dank hops. 24oz chugged in 14s. Flavor was sweet going down, some bitterness, some danky wankys, fairly low carb for an IPA so good for a chug.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This beer is delicious and phenomenally alcoholic. Pours a clear amber color. A nice aroma- definitely a hoppy smell with a bit of dankness. Taste is slightly hoppy bitter with a strong hint of marijuana, as one might expect from a 420 friendly beer company’s beer named after the group of high school kids that started the 420 tradition. Truly a special delight. Good for the monthly cigarette and getting ready to watch another episode of "Halt and Catch Fire" with the windows open.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
6 pack from The Davis Beer Shoppe. This beer is less than 3 weeks ago. $10.99. The aroma on this is glorious. There is a nice, sweet, orangey citrus aroma with hints of nectarine. There’s also a little cattiness and some pine. This kind of reminds me of the mid 2000’s when there were lots of great IPAs that used Simcoe. This seems like one. Transparent orange color with a medium white head. This starts relatively sweet and sugary. It’s borderline sweet, but there are some floral hop notes in the middle, before a moderate amount of orange, citrus hop flavor towards the finish. There is minimal ethanol, and this is one dangerous beer. Probably the best commercial beer value in the history of beer.
