COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1971, the Waldos met one afteroon at 4:20 in the front courtyard of their school near the statue of Louis Pasteur. They set out in a ’66 Impala armed with a "treasure map" on a journey to find a secret garden near Point Reyes. They met there at the same time every day and continued their quest. They never found the secret garden....But they keep lookin’. The dankest and hoppiest beer ever brewed at Lagunitas was made with help of the Waldos for all treasure hunters.

Tap at CK Diggs. Pours clear golden orange, white head. Aroma is orange, lemon, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, some dankness, not as much as I expected. But still very noticeable. Flavor is way more dank. Boozy, orange, mango, grapefruit, bitter pine, orange rind. Good. I quite like it.

Double Waldo Chug for Jack’s birthday. Golden, stanks of dank hops. 24oz chugged in 14s. Flavor was sweet going down, some bitterness, some danky wankys, fairly low carb for an IPA so good for a chug.

This beer is delicious and phenomenally alcoholic. Pours a clear amber color. A nice aroma- definitely a hoppy smell with a bit of dankness. Taste is slightly hoppy bitter with a strong hint of marijuana, as one might expect from a 420 friendly beer company’s beer named after the group of high school kids that started the 420 tradition. Truly a special delight. Good for the monthly cigarette and getting ready to watch another episode of "Halt and Catch Fire" with the windows open.

6 pack from The Davis Beer Shoppe. This beer is less than 3 weeks ago. $10.99. The aroma on this is glorious. There is a nice, sweet, orangey citrus aroma with hints of nectarine. There’s also a little cattiness and some pine. This kind of reminds me of the mid 2000’s when there were lots of great IPAs that used Simcoe. This seems like one. Transparent orange color with a medium white head. This starts relatively sweet and sugary. It’s borderline sweet, but there are some floral hop notes in the middle, before a moderate amount of orange, citrus hop flavor towards the finish. There is minimal ethanol, and this is one dangerous beer. Probably the best commercial beer value in the history of beer.

Pours a half finger of head on a clear straw body. Aroma is super dank, loads of resin and a bit of pineapple. Taste has lots of malty sweet, some lemon bitter, pine resin, boozy. Texture is thicker.

Soooooo, interesting beer. I’m not a Lagunitas fanboy by any means. Most of their beers are way too sweet for me. This one was very good, almost. Sticky white head and lacing. Dank as fuck and boozy aroma. Mouthfeel is super syrupy. Good amount of carb to cut the stickyness. Hops were peach and pine; like yin and yang. But damn that alcohol burn! Too much. Would have been a fantastic beer if it didn’t taste like burning.

Bottle into tulip glass, hazy amber-hued golden color with light tan head. Aroma notes of strong pine/citrus hops, tropical dankness and malt sweetness. Taste adds intense hop notes of resin, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, citrus rind, almost white sugar sweetness and tad boozey. Heavy body, moderate-low carbonation, rich, sticky, dry with long lingering bitter citrus/pine finish. Big intense IIIPA, like excellent fresh hop syrup.
