Bottle from a Frankfurt airport duty free shop. Pours dark copper with a creamy beige/tan head. Aroma is malty with a little spicy hop. Med body. It’s starting like a cola flavor - develops a slight hint of chocolate, and some bitter herb. It’s malty, but not sweet. Finishes towards dry and bitter for me. Tasty! pcd1956 (27) - Purmerend, NETHERLANDS - OCT 19, 2013

Clear dark brown, beige head. Most striking in this bock is the vegetables present on its taste. Besides that some caramel roasted malts. Nice bock. Gerbeer (3749) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 4, 2013
500 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with medium head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of roasted malts, brown sugar and figs. Flavors are same but lighter and thereare additional cooked vegetable notes. reebtogi (6267) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 5, 2013
500ml bottle pours a deep amber color with a finger and a half of off-white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is dark fruits and grass with hints of caramel. Taste is a grassy hop bitterness with a fruity malt sweetness. Flavors are well balanced making this a well done brew for the style and recommended.

Pours dark amber colored with small creamy head. Smells malty with dark fruits. Starts malty-sweer with some brown sugar and plum. The middle part is very malty-fruity with some sweet brown sugar. Goes into a sugary finish with lots of dark fruits (especially plum)! Very great dark bock!!!
500 bottle, poured into a snifter. ABV 7.2%
Deep mahogany colour with ruvy shades. Two fingers of tan head, average retention.
Aromas of caramel, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate.
Taste follows the aroma, only now the chocolate and coffee flavour are more pronounced and the caramel lingers on the background. Mildly sweet and very drinkable.
Full body, good amount of carbonation, maybe a bit light. Oily on the palate.
NIce bock, the alcohol not traceable except for the warming feeling that it gives. Nithing extra ordinary but an honest one. vipinvelp (4427) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2013
Clear dark ruby with small light brown foam head lacing to glass. Weak aroma, caramel mostly. Taste is caramel dominated with liitle barley, very little bitterness. Aftertaste is short. (Velp 201302) riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2013
Awww yeahhhhh dunkler bock bitches. Nose of sweet brown bread light chocolate and a touch of noble hops. Pours brown with a tan head. Flavor of toasted sweet brown bread light chocolate a touch fruity and a bit of noble hops. Soft balanced sweetness with a clean finish. Nice beer that would score higher had it been an american made barrel aged sour ale or rare offering.
