Bottled: Brown color, off-white to brownish creamy head. Full aroma, light roasty, notes of caramel and toffee. Light notes of dark chocolate. Flavor is full bodied, malty, caramelic, light roasty, notes of toffeee, dark chocolate and cacao. Warming alcohol. Nice. Holy (837) - GERMANY - JAN 28, 2012
Thanks to Bottleshop. Please standby for a real rating. I’m actually enjoying the company of other beer enthusiasts instead of being a non-social "I must rate this right now!!!" Nena (963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Dark brown pour, fluffy beige head. Bread pudding aroma, sweet, caramelly, toasty. Sweet, syrupy flavor, hint of molasses. Kind of doughy, raisiny, and toasty. A rich, sweet beer that hits what I like about big bocks while hiding its per entage well. mcdav2154 (448) - GERMANY - DEC 13, 2011
Reddish brown body. Minamal beige head. No lacing. Aroma is of brown sugar, toasty malt, and caramel. Taste is heavy sweet on the front but not cloying with a small bitter bite on the end. Alcoholic creamy mouthfeel. Not a bad beer. Very enjoyable bock! dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - NOV 28, 2011
interesting evolution that ends in some weird sugary/bubblegum note. Nice beer to look at, has a dark flavor of Dutch rye bread or something sweet. Slightly too sweet. Bottle from the De Schans store.
