COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy and brown with a dense light tan head. Mild caramel and alcohol aroma. Sweet and breadish malt flavoured with a nice roasted note coming through into a nice roasted and slight fruity finish. Light acidic touch. Nice one.

[email protected] Pint Pub, Helsinki. Deep amber colour, not that much head. Aroma is caramel, some skunkyness, mild earth and yeast. Flavour is quite much the same. Did have some metallic notes when cold, but those disappeared when it warmed up a bit.

(Bottle 50 cl) 7,5% ABV in my version. A snow-bock, well, it had to come sooner or later. But its certainly far from watery. Dark amber colour. Lovely caramel flavours with a wee metallic edge. In spite of being overly potent with some sweetness this brew is surprisingly light and in no way cloying. Rather wellmade (Doppel)bock. 250802

Bottle courtesy of - you guessed it - bierkrug. Thanks! Beautiful clear amber color, large fluffy tan head with great lacing. Aroma of toasted graham crackers covered in honey. Taste is sweet caramel. OK.

Leicht herber Nachgeschmack. Sehr lascher Bock! Test vom 21.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,6,7,5,8,5 - 5,80

Bottle, Frankfurt Airport. Fairly rich malty aroma. Has a nice ple malt taste, though with a somewhat harsh alcohol bitterness in the finish. A little bit coarse as a result. Decent bock but not great.
