Bottle, Frankfurt Airport. This has a fresh, balanced, taste with dry, herbal bitterness and light pale malts. Solid, if unspectacular example.

On-tap at Wolpertinger, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Hazy yellow golden with a nice white head. Aroma of bready malt and grass. Sweetish, malty, biscuit and toasted bread notes, yeasty with bitter finish. Meduim-bodied, smooth. Decent.

Decent enough for style. Some barley and some butter. Certainly interesting after three weeks of Ethiopian lager. Hazy golden pour with foamy head. Light bitter crisp finish. Bottle at Caviar House in Frankfurt airport.

Tap at Dachsbau, Krefeld. Thin, watery beer, light acidic and oxidised (cardboard). Has been standing there for far too long.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, modest turbid, nice head. Starts mild, malty, dry-yeasty. Grasy-malty with some mild sourish notes. Finish still yeasty dry. Okay.

Brown 0.5 litre bottle, best before 8th July 2010, drank 23rd Frb 2010. The second beer from this brewery to be reviewed this evening (of three). Poured into a vase shaped pint glass. Very pale yellow, misty rather than murky or cloudy, thin looking actually. On top sat an uneven crust of foam, white in colour. Next time I have one Ill pour it into a stone mug (stein) I think! Yeast esters came up from the beer, mixed with hints of hops and the promise of mixed spices (cloves, corriander and nutmeg). The taste was refreshing and wheatish in flavour, the aforementioned spices did appear, but only lightly and in the background. Enjoyed the beer, wish Id bought more while staying close to the brewery last December.

500 ml bottle picked up at Wasanas and had at home. Pours a very hazy almost bright yellew with a soft but thin snow white head. Aroma is lemon, hops and grass. Taste is basic hard and full of grains. Palate is slightly harsh but well made. I however did not think much of this beer, It is good well made but the flavor and pleasure are just not there until you let this beer warm and settle.
