Draught at Mckay’s Taphouse, Bellingham, as Lath Neppur StoutBrewDad (5328) - Olympia, Washington, USA - DEC 11, 2008
Dark color, almost black, with creamy head. Some aroma of roasted malts. Smooth mouthfeel, with light milky/creamy feeling; good and mild flavor of roasted malts; moderate sweetness.
Taster - Laht Neppur Brewing - Waitsburg WA - Dark malt flavor with added chocolate and coffee flavors. Smooth creamy stout this was very nice. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - FEB 9, 2007
Tap: Dark black, tan head and light lacing. Nose of light char and coffee, some mesquito spray peppery notes and clean hops. The flavor is a bit fruity and chalky. Finishes clean, lots of cocoa and coffee. Nice stout. Reminds me a bit of Olfabrikken’s stuff. jake65 (3689) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - FEB 1, 2007
Growler: Pours a rich, dark brown with some tan head. Nose is mostly roasted malt and coffee, hints of cocoa. The taste is very strong of coffee and roasted malt, light chocolate notes. Bittersweetness like baker’s chocolate. Creamy and smooth on the way down, lingering coffee/roasted finish. Thanks to Jordan for sharing. IndianaRed (4615) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JAN 31, 2007
Growler Very dark brown with a very small light tan head. Mostly straight forward dark roasted aroma. Smokey campfire flavors with some slightly sweet roasted notes as well. A light-medium weight stout that leaves a bit of a burnt bitterness on the trailer. Thanks Jordan for bringing this back.
