vulcanmeister (297) - La Grande, Oregon, USA - JUN 29, 2016
Poured at 2016 Eastern Oregon Beer Festival. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma of wheat malt and pleasant light peach. Taste peach, wheat, and some spice. Refreshing.

22 oz bottle- Pours clear on the first pour with a nice white dense head that seems to want to stick around. Aroma is fruity, kind of muted, some spices. The taste is yeast, pepper spice, peach, there is a bit of an odd earthiness to the beer, not fake fruity which i appreciate, it has that non sweet fruity taste that usually comes from actual fruit, easy drinking and not too sweet, a bit of graininess seems distracting.

Hazy peach and orange coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright peaches, some metal, alcohol, a hint of yeast and a little citrus. Light-bodied; Very mild malt flavours with a touch of peach and fruit notes and some very subtle earthiness. Aftertaste is relatively simple as well with only a bit of the fruit playing off the malt and a hint of bitterness. Overall, a fairly mild beer with no real depth and a light sweetness is the only thing that really shows through. Not really worth trying to find and not worth space in a suitcase if you’re thinking of bringing it home. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 27-September-2013 for US$5.50 sampled at home in Washington on the other end of the country on 31-Janauary-2014.

Grain yellow with a thin sheet of loose white foam and brilliant clarity - looks more like a pils than any kind of wheat beer.... Smells of tart peach, some grain but overall very, very faint nose. Flavor is peach, then corn, astringent grain husk, some bits of clay and a touch of countertop dust. Thin with low carb and a dry finish. I’m really confused on the beer here: clear, thin, no classic hefe flavors....Maybe this was a typo: I inquire: 10% tops on the wheat in the grist, bavarian yeast of some sort.

Bottle:   Bright straw, sediment follows, thin sudsy white head, little lacing.   Fruity nose, not so much peach as say... Apricot or even star fruit.   Lightly tart up front, faint peach/apricot, but not much wheatiness.   Very faint.   Not a bright fruitiness, and thankfully not so much that it feels so artificial.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Finishes has a bit more of a soft wheaty aspect to it.   Light peach/apricot flavors linger, but not for very long.   Middle of the road, and not as flavorful or as bright as Pyramids, but its decent enough if you want something fruity that isn’t too artificial.

A decent peach beer, fearless' peaches and cream is better. Pours and ugly yellow. Smells like slightly overripe peaches. Taste is subtle, tasty but a little boring. Had on tap at Oregon Brewers Festival. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden color with a moderate head on it. I actually didn’t get much from the nose on this one. There was a little bit of yeastiness to it, but little else, though what I could get was pleasant. Taste was actually slightly sweet with just a bit of peach in there. Rather refreshing summer beer.

Rosy hefe looks. Muted peach aroma. Watery peach juice is all i really got from this one.
