Aroma fruity hops. White head, leaves a 1 cm lace inside the mug.
Very pale straw-yellow colour, on clear water. Carbonation is rather good.
Much bread, hops, grain and distinct bitterness in the taste. Not sweet.
Average mouthfeel. Hoppy and dry aftertaste, with tiny hints of malts only.
Probably an excellent partner along with a sandwich with pickled herring.
An interesting pilsener, among all the anonymous waterish supermarket-beers from this part of Europe.
50 cl can bought in Finland, enjoyed at home with my wife. Andy_ (1121) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 20, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2013 Golden yellow clear beer with some nice head which dissolves quickly, leaving a little layer on top of the beer. Aroma is mostly grainy malty. The taste begins with a metallic sidenote and goes on with maltiness. The finish has a nice amount of fresh hops but also some Laitila trademark vegetables or pea soup taste. It’s a pretty highly carbonated and thin beer. For the price and availability it’s ok and I give a bonus point for being gluten free and produced with wind power. However, with better options available (without vegetable and metallic aromas), I’m probably not going to buy this again. jookos (6973) - FINLAND - APR 30, 2013
Can. Pale yellow, clear. This is probably the most interesting of finnish continentally-hopped bulk beers. Quite bitter, a bunch of green hoppy flavours. The malts are, however, hard to find, and the yeast profile seems like the same as all other bulks around here. Not actually that bad, if faced with choosing between this and another finnish bulk lager, go for this!jpkeskinen (526) - FINLAND - APR 13, 2013
A bit better bulk beer. Though there’s not much taste, there’s still something. The can looks good! laiti (8508) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 4, 2013

Aroma is rather strong on butter. Also some grassy hops and grainy malt. Flavour has grassy hops, some sweetish butter and grainy malt. Very close to Vahva Pils (no surprises here). Probably the best beer you buy with one euro in Finland.
Can from supermarket. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with grass, citrus, malts and toast. Dry bitter finish. Decent pils. jonas (7993) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 24, 2012
Old backlog rating. Pale golden, low carbonation. Hayish, nice light grassy nose. Flavor hayish, lacks the hop nose. Light to medium body. ok. HopfenWeisse (1558) - - OCT 22, 2012
Clear yellow color with small head. Some grassy hops in aroma. Bitter taste, bit hoppy. Sometimes works quite well other times not so well. thellgren (1111) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2012
0.5 l can from supermarkets. Nice pils with lots of hops. Goes well with herring. mauritsio (985) - FINLAND - OCT 18, 2012
0,33 cl can. Lite colour and white small head. Aroma is round. Mild taste with little bitterness. I tried them dozens. Not every kukko pils taste the same.
