500 ml can. Pours a hazy yellow colour with a large white foamy head. Aroma is quite fresh with wheat, sharp citrusy notes and caramel. Sharp citrusy flavour with wheat, some grains, yeast, caramel and banana. Light bodied and high-ish carbonation. Sharp, refreshing and citrusy finish with some mild sourness. Maybe a bit thin, but still a nice clean hefeweizen. I could buy another one. kustie (1418) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 5, 2014
Light yellow color with nice head. Aroma has yeast and some banana. Taste is refreshing but quite short with not so many nuances. A bit sour aftertaste with some citrus in it. Light body with high carbonation. Quite straightforward weizen. mikkopen (1201) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - APR 4, 2014
500 ml can. Hazy yellow colour, thick white head. Wheaty-malty aroma with banana and spicy notes. The flavour is malty, wheaty, with banana and yeasty notes. A bit watery on the palate, but otherwise OK. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 3, 2014
Canned (from K Citymarket Kivihaka Vaasa). Along with fosters radler with grapefruit this was up to getting to be my #1000 Finnish tick, as Rami is a nice chap. Anyhow, over to the rating. The colour was surprisingly orange to what I expected. There was a good firm mediumsized head too. Aroma was pretty much a clean hefeweizen, actually without the thing I’d call house aroma for the brewery. Flavour was refreshing wheat, citrus and some herbal notes, but also had some other elements I wasn’t too fond of. The old Vehnäinen was more for my taste, even though this one probably will get the masses better. This was clean and quite "basic" as such. I still do enjoy my hefeweizens with a twist (whatever twist it may be, hefeweizens are usually hit’n’miss for me). This was in between though. Good for the cleanliness, but I had expected something more.

A light yellow beer with a big and white head. The nose is wheat and fresh, bananas and sourness also some spices. Taste of wheat, slightly sour, only hint of fruits, some spices. Taste is quite mild after the good aroma. Light bodied with high carbonation. The aroma is good but then the feeling aren’t so good anymore, slightly too light as many of low alc. % hefes, also more bananas in the taste would be great. laiti (8546) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 26, 2014
50 cl can @ home, BBE 04.02.2015jookos (7267) - FINLAND - MAR 3, 2014
Aroma has citrus and some yeasty tones. Flavour has banana esthers, yeast, bubblegum and distant cardboard tones. Palate is a bit too high on CO2. Feels a bit floury. Decent.
Can (as kukko vehnä). Pale yellow, hazy. Good banana esters, wheat, but a bit bland, mellow watery. Light body, light flavours. Watery, but with a nice weize touch though. Andy_ (1146) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2014
Hazy orange beer with a big white head. Aroma has hefeweizen yeast, dry sour wheat and some citrus. Flavor continues on the same path, adding a little bit of ripe banana. Finish is quite short and only midly bitter. Mouthfeel is is thin and watery with pretty high carbonation. Hefeweizen which represents the drier side of the style and could benefit from a little bit of more ABV.
