Bottle. Black with tan head. Burnt malt, licorice root, mämmi. Licorice, berries, dark malt. Sweet, sticky. I like it. Turboninja (859) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 24, 2017
Strong taste with a bit artificial licorice, which also makes it to stick to your throat. Medium body with medium/low carbonation. Bit simple but balanced. Overall, distinctive, though a bit lo-fi. AndreasP (319) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 2, 2017
Well it is declared on the label: it a sweet licorice porter with some slight tobacco to balance it. The tobacco could need some more support in the fight against the licorice. gunnar (9760) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 8, 2017
Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Last beer for today. Pours almost clear dark brown with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of liquorice, dark malts. Smooth & creamy mouthfeel, taste is dominated by liquorice, bitter and salty, very good for liquorice lovers.

33 cl bottle from Alko Helsinki. Pours black with little head. Sweet liquorice aroma and same taste. mice (1065) - FINLAND - JUL 21, 2016
Musta olut runsaalla vaaleanbeigellä, hyvin tiiviillä vaahdolla. Melko mieto tuoksu on leipäinen, lakritsinen ja makea. Maku sen sijaan on vahvaakin vahvemmin lakritsinen. Pitkä lakritsinen jälkimaku. Erikoinen, mutta varsin onnistunut kokeilu. rostetti (385) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAY 25, 2016
Bottle from Alko. The taste of licorice kicks right away when beer is swallowed. Taste isn’t artificial at all and it leaves a nice feeling in mouth, just like after eating real licorice. One of my favorite beers. ramboraffe (2257) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 23, 2016
On tap at Kaisla, Helsinki. Black with tanned head. A lot of sweet licorice in smell and taste. Very sweet with low bitterness and medium carbonation. Svesse (8825) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 13, 2016
(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, 27 April 2016) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of liquorice, black coffee and dark chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with sweet liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee, black rye bread and a gentle roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made, a bit sweet but with a good liquorice character. Nice one.
