4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Good aroma, both barley and hops are evident. Nice hop bitterness that leaves a nice taste afterwards.
This was not a hit, according to drunken me c. 3:00 AM yesterday morning. Sampled during a wild night of music, drinks, and games. jbruner (5401) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - NOV 12, 2017
Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves good lace. Aroma of mild citrus hops over bready and caramel malt notes. Taste is more malt forward than the nose, but decent hop balance. An old school pale ale, par for the course in the area. nimbleprop (8808) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JAN 20, 2017
12oz bottle pours a dark gold with some clumpy, white head. Nose is gross, under attenuated honey, passion fruit, grapefruit juice. Flavor is flabby, honey, a little lemon-lime soda, non descript. Sweet finish. AWISLguy (3374) - Wisconsin, USA - DEC 7, 2015
12oz bottle from Woodmans in the Falls. No bottle date. An orange pour with little head. Doughy caramel malts, some fruit in the nose. Taste bring some more light hoppiness, fruit, berries, and some resiny chewiness to go with the bready malts. Shrug? Ok. 13.2 TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Pours a pale orange golden color with off-white head. Pine, grass, light citrus fruits, and just a hint of maltiness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice balance of hop resin and caramel malt.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent hazy looking orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing speckling the glass nicely.
The smell had a nice blend of sweet citrus to bittersweet sticky pine lightly dosed with sweet caramel malts.
The taste was mainly sweet but still tried to get the piney hops to make a play however, they stay subdued for the most part.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was right on par for the style and for me - just enough harshness but didn’t go overboard.
Overall, good APA worthy of having again if I could.
On tap at the Weary Traveler Freehouse. Pale orange. Malty floral aroma and taste. Easy drinking with some hop kick. A solid APA to be sure.
