COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale: Old school version of an IPA. Still balanced; not a ‘one trick pony’ pale. Named after the country song “It’s hard to kiss the lips at night that chew your ass out all day long”.

Had on tap for dinner, nice fruity smell. Orangeish in color, minimal head left after pour. Taste of hops with a slight sweet finish. Would drink again.

12 oz bottle from backlog. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, light caramel, citrus and some earthy hops, mild plus bitterness, fairly soft ipa.

12oz bottle pours a mostly clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has orange, some tomato, passion fruit, hand soap. Flavor is boozy and spicy, some habanero, pink peppercorn, pine. Finishes a bit hot. What is this?

Clear, pale gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. Creamy citrus fruits, sherbet lemon, tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, soft carbonation, medium bitter and dry finish. Beautiful IPA, somewhat weak in the aroma, but plate is an explosion. Keg at The Old Fashioned, Madison, WI.

Draft. Moderate orange candy and lemon aroma. Taste is moderately bitter orange candy flavored bitterness pithy. For me it is a tad too sweet and need more hop flavor

A little watered down, and a more malted IPA rather than refreshing and bitter

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of bread, earthiness and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and a hint of pine with a crisp dry moderately bitter finish.

Bottle into a tulip. Deep cloudy, brown gold with an ample tan head, rather large bubbles. Deep malty, molasses notes, some piney resin, lighter citrus, some floral notes. Bitter, quite tangy. Deep back of the mouth sweetness predominates through the finish. Hint of spice. Medium body, very acidic. Touch of carbonation, though the acidity keeps it lively. Reasonably clean, quite chewy. Decent.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, pineapple, pine. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Some floral and resin notes emerge in the taste, but mostly citrus in the form of grapefruit rind and bitter lemon peel.

12 oz bottle poured into Shaker. Pours a clear gold with a medium off white head that disappears quickly. Medium carbonation. First taste has the small bitter taste of grapefruit that suddenly changes to hops. Leaves the hoppy tingle on the back of your tongue. Very standard IPA - tasty but doesn’t scream out in flavor. I’d drink more of it.

Pours an unclear medium orange amber. Small soapy white head. Aroma is grassy, soft pine, semi sweet citrus. Flavor follows. Quite hoppy. Grapefruit rind stands out. Solid bitterness. Lighter medium body. Doesn’t have a lot going exactly. Pretty good drinkability. I’d have another.
