Bottle as shown. Pours a clear copper amber with small beige head. The aroma is peat, oak, and booze. Thin mouthfeel with sweet roast, light booze, oak and sweet finish. Good. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 21, 2014
This one poured a light brown color with a beige head. Aroma was of brown sugar, caramel and booze. Flavor was similar, light peat notes too but a bit too boring and boozy Dfonorow (2358) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 19, 2014
On tap at Milwaukee Brew Fest 2013. Dark amber with very small off-white head. Aroma is sweet - toffee, cherry juice, plums. Flavor is similar with additional notes of dry wood, booze, and smoke. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - DEC 24, 2013

Purchased at Steve's Wines in Madison, WI; enjoyed at a fancy holiday party in Milwaukee, WI. I didn't take notes, but remember this being a decent scotch that went down very sweet.

12 ounce bottle pours an amber color with aromas of dark fruit, malt, light caramel, and some peat. Flavors are the same, lots of malt with some light peat and ripe dark fruit. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2012
On tap at dexters, pours a clear copperish red with an off white head, the aroma is of huge sweetness with a ton of malt and a little bit of caramel mixed in as well, the flavor has a ton of sweet malt on the front end with the booze coming through in the finish, really needed to sip this one along, meh. jgb9348 (6654) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Deep dark brown coloured body with a two centimetre tall creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, tons of raisins and pit fruits, a bit of toffee and caramel and a little lighter fruitiness. Medium-bodied; Very fruity flavour with grapes, raisins, plums, prunes and a bit of malt noticeable coupled with some darker peat flavours and a hint of bitterness at the end. Aftertaste shows some rather sweet and slightly sour notes, but a little complexity with grapes coupled with peat - interesting. Overall, a pretty good scotch with less emphasis on caramel and more on pit fruits - but a very complex beer and a nice all-around flavour make this worth searching out for, especially if you aren’t from the area - as I am not. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Discount Liqour in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 05-September-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 06-December-2012. Pours a clear deep amber with no head. Aromas of smoked peat, malty goodness. Dear god, I hope this isn’t a sugar bomb. And... Thankfully it isn’t. Taste is dry wood, some smokiness along with a hop bite. Nice, actually. This is a beer I can enjoy. Hides the 9%abv really well. Good beer. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - JUN 1, 2012
This pours a murky brownish-amber color with a pencil thin head on top. The aroma is a bit candy-like; picking up cherry, toffee, red plum, and twizzlers. It’s sweet going down and a little thinner than expected. The flavors are sweet caramel and toffee, that’s joined by some cherry cough drop, plum, leading to a somewhat prickly finish. Not bad but not something I entirely enjoyed either. Admittedly not one of my favorite styles.
