12 oz bottle and served in my NB worthy glass: Hazy golden hue with a fading fizzy head and spotty sheets of lace. The aroma has major spice notes of coriander, ginger, kaffir lime leaves, grains of paradise, juniper, some wet grains and a hint of medicinal vapours. The taste is equally spicy and slightly fruity with a base of wheat and pale malts. Once I got used to the flavor profile this is pretty tasty, more a witbier than Biere de Garde or Saison however. drfabulous (8585) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Saison or Wit Beer? Closer to wit. Light and fruity somewhat. Nice citrus after taste. Not bad, but not saison. Bought at Steve’s in Madison. JK (6294) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - AUG 9, 2008
Bitter. The aroma has ginger and coriander. More of this in the flavor, along with wheat. Spicy, but there could be more yeast. Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2008
(bottle thanks Joebrew!) Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Aromas of coriander, orange, bready yeast, and ginger. The taste is initially filled with ginger, but there’s also some orange peel present as well. The finish is very buttery and yeasty, which makes it taste like a buttered cracker. Mouthfeel is medium. beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUL 28, 2008
Bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Pours a hazy gold with a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of lemon and coriander. The flavor is very similar with lemon and coriander. Thin bodied.

Bottle. Aroma was spice fields. Flavor lots of different citrus peels, coriander. Mouthfeel on the thin side. Ok. LilBeerDoctor (4193) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2008
Bottle shared by beastiefan2k. Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, light fruits, and sweet corn. Flavor of spicy odd flavors, sweet corn, stale wheat. Doesn’t taste anything like a saison. Pretty bad although to give it one redeemable quality, it didn’t have a terrible palate. The bad flavors were easy to gulp down, if you wanted to (which I didn’t). badgerben (5327) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUL 21, 2008
Thanks to Joebrew! Hazy yellow color with a thin head. Butterscotch aroma. Lots of ginger and spiciness to the flavor. Buttery finish. notalush (5922) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JUN 24, 2008
Saison? Well, from the label I was expecting one, but this is all witbier to me - cloudy light golden beer - spicy nose of coriander, citrus rind, a touch of peppercorn, lavender - mildly tart, with a wheaty character to it - quite a bit of spice and floral flavors - gets a bit of a soapy quality at times - a little grainy/bready on the back end - decent. jbuzz (838) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 20, 2008
Single from Three Cellars Milwaukee.
Cloudy light color. Very flowery aroma. Spicy and “creamy” flavor.
