Bottle pours deep brown/black with a tan head. Aroma shows notes of chocolate covered nuts, vanilla, coffee, and moderate roast. Flavor shows the same with underlying notes of dates, dried plum (not prune), earthy hops, and light ash. Overall body is moderate, dry, and finishes with roasted bitterness. Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a very strong aroma of vanilla, with some almond and coconut(?). Taste is nutty, but not in a good way. It’s honestly a bit offsetting. Long finish, almost oily, with some definite bitterness. Not a huge fan.
