COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pours with dark amber, burnt orange, copper colour and off-white, ecru-coloured foam. The aromatics are primarily citrus (grapefruit) with a subtle pine note. After the first scent, the malt aromatics come through – slight hint of toffee with some mild aromas of hay and straw. The body of the beer is roasted malts, dark toffee, a gentle molasses flavour and a touch of black licorice. The mouth feel is rounded and very dry. The finish is moderate-to-bold bitterness that lingers longer but is very pleasant. The finish is enveloping and builds with each sip.

Bouteille 750ml.

Good ale with hoppy taste and a very smooth finish. Got from a can from LCBO and would definitely buy this again.

50 cl can. Pours a clear amber with minimal white head. Aroma of caramel and hops. Palate is smooth and light. Needs a little more body but nice light Ipa.

Rating #2353 - 2016.02.29 - Can from @beerblast. Golden amber pour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly.Very fragrant with mild citrus (pink grapefruit, lemon) in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and assertive bitter finish - but not overpowering.

Pours clear copper color with a large off-white head. Resin on the nose, slight metallic notes, orange, old hops. Flavor is nutty, malty, licorice notes, distant pineapple, dried fruits, some hop notes, metal tones. A bit old, and feels like it.

Can from Loblaws. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried orange peel and caramel. Flavour of light hops, metal and tonic water. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Weak and inoffensive.

Pours amber with a decent head that leaves some lacing. Nose is grapefruit and pine. Flavour is malts and a bit of citrus, but watered down. Had potential but didn’t deliver.

Kauge (1958) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 11, 2016
Can from LCBO. Dark amber. Caramelly and toffee-y overall character with resiny bitterness. A bit rough, not too well rounded. Not very keen on this.

Fairly standard IPA. Good but not exceptional. Amber colour, decent amount of hoppy bitterness and traces of smoke in the malt. Highly drinkable but not unique.
