Cask. Pours dark copper with low head. Aroma is ginger. Taste is malts, grass and then burnt hops. Quite interesting. blankboy (7714) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 15, 2012
Cask at Cask Days 2012. Sixth beer of the fest. Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a small lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma is roasty along with a good amount of coffee. Flavour’s the same, roasted malt and coffee along with a hint of chocolate. Average to medium bodied. Autumn Ale? Tastes like a Coffee Porter to me. Regardless I enjoyed it. robinvboyer (4698) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 4, 2012
Light roasted malts, earthy hops, light nutiness. Good mouth feel, low carb. Kinda a boring simple brown ale. Is it called a harvest ale just beacause the time of year? JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 30, 2012
Dark pour. A touch of chocolate and some light roasted malt. A bit of cocoa along with some light earthy hoppiness. Kind of a simple brew - not sure what was harvested.
