Bottle. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is nothing much. Taste is sweet and fruity, only moderately bitter. Decent.

On tap at Smokeless Joe, bright amber-gold color, with a small white head, with a faint crunchy pale, toasted malt, light fruity leafy, grassy, herbal hop nose, with a medium-bodied palate, a nice toasted, caramel malt, flowery fruity citrusy, leafy hop character, with somme grassy flavours, leading towards a fruity, leafy, grassy hop bitternees finish.

pushkinwow (2827) - Ottawa, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
Sampled at the brewery. Clear light amber with an off white creamy head. Mild and light malt with some hop characteristics, hint of lemon zest and grains. High carbonation, mild body, bit of apple and slightly bitter.

Cask at C’est What, Toronto
Hazy golden color, small head. Light Ale, it has a moderate malt flavor, with a hint of crispness and a touch of toffee; correct bitterness; quite dry.
Pleasant, easy.

DerWeg (1689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 1, 2012
CASK called "Crossroads" Pale Ale at Castro’s, hazy look, mild fruity aroma, fruity taste with a medium light body and light hops bitter making it perfect session.

solidfunk (9025) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Tastes like stale bubblegum. A weird musky kind of stale taste, strange hop profile without much smell at all. The caramel they talk about on the label is hard to detect. Bottle at no name bar

thorongil2 (3171) - , Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 22, 2012 (bottle) clear light amber colour with small white head; aromas of citrus, hint of stewed fruit; balanced and drinkable flavour with long light bitter finish

VeloVampire (625) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 26, 2012
341 ml bottle - pours clear gold/green with a small whitish head that lasts for most of the glass. Aroma grainy, slightly chalky, grassy, herbal hops. Flavour is pretty straightforward, sweet pale malt in good balance with mildly lemony hops. Pretty decent "Canadian" Pale Ale (think Black Oak), and something I’ve been quaffing a lot of this summer. Great hot weather sessioner. It’s improved greatly since I last had it a couple years ago.

WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - APR 26, 2012
Cascadian, aroma reminded me of lemon pepper, which is nice. On the malt side, yep nice and delicately done. Nothing spectacular, but deserving of a 3 rating, which means "good".

Boutip (6397) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 21, 2012
Bottle: Poured a light golden color ale with a nice large foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet cereal notes with some unrefined grain notes also detectable. Taste is also a mix between some cereal notes with some unrefined grain notes and some light dry hops. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad overall but light notes of unrefined grain are more or less interesting.
