Slightly hazy golden color with a good amount of activity. Slightly creamy white 1 finger, lasting around 5 to 10 minutes, with some very good legs. Aromas of butterscotch and sweet grains. Flavors of roasted malts, lemon, caramel, floral and noble spices. Balanced sweetness and salivating sharpness. Nice bread feel with a hint of grass. Smooth oily almost full body with prickly carbonation. Light finish that lingers a little, ending with bready feel of burnt caramel, and roasted malty sweetness. Overall a very good quality craft. Delicious mix of flavors that are super well balanced and quite complex. A little faint but super fresh and sharp.

I tried this beer on October 17, 2011 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer pours a light golden orange ini colour with a thin tan head that lasts a while. Aroma is citrusy hops, caramel, and light fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is caramel, fruit, weak grapefruit, and a nice bitter finish. This would definitely make a great session beer.

Fresh from the brewery, nice light hoppy aroma, flavour is really fresh and crisp with a nice amount of hop bitterness. Not the biggest hop flavour, but really clean and well done. Great summer beer.

CASK called "Crossroads" Pale Ale at Castro’s, hazy look, mild fruity aroma, fruity taste with a medium light body and light hops bitter making it perfect session.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2010 On tap at the Griffin Gastropub in Bracebridge. Poured a nice deep golden with a small white cap. The aroma has some nice hop presence to it that I wasn’t expecting, along with some decent pale malt aspects. Flavour hits with moderate hop flavour followed by some tasty grainy sweet malts. Finishes mildly bitter, nice crisp feel to it, I can kind of see what they were going for with this one. Really above my expectations for it and I hope the excessive ads for this brewery around the Muskoka’s pays off for them so they can brew some more interesting things.

341 ml bottle - pours clear gold/green with a small whitish head that lasts for most of the glass. Aroma grainy, slightly chalky, grassy, herbal hops. Flavour is pretty straightforward, sweet pale malt in good balance with mildly lemony hops. Pretty decent "Canadian" Pale Ale (think Black Oak), and something I’ve been quaffing a lot of this summer. Great hot weather sessioner. It’s improved greatly since I last had it a couple years ago.
