750 mL bottle. Pours deep, dark mahogany with a thin white cap. Aromas of cocoa, sweet grain and a hint of coffee. Slightly sweet balanced by a slight hint of roastiness. Thin on the body for what I expect in a porter. Moderate carbonation. Sessionable. TimE (5992) - Tokyo, JAPAN - DEC 25, 2013
sour chocolatey nose with dark cherries. Medium body tons of mocha in the mouth and aptly named. Big mocha finish. Strangebrewer (1324) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 22, 2013
bottle. Poured deep brown with a red hue, thin beige head. Medium roasted aroma. Medium-full body with an oily mouthfeel, finishes with a medium dryness. Roasted malt base, flavours of coffee, cocoa, and a sour cherry note. Freaky_tiki (1300) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2013
Pours midnight black with a two finger cap into my lake of bays glass on a Saturday afternoon after getting the Christmas tree into the house. Think this just may be the best brew in their line up. A tasty low-fi blend of subtle cocoa & coffee. Nothing bold or mind blowing. Just a decent porter. Cheers. SuperTiti33 (891) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 27, 2013

Légèrement sucré. Banane. Noisette. Un peu chocolaté. Café filtre. Manque de corps mais tout de même réussi.

Old North Mocha Porter, poured like a true gentleman, quiet and reserved, subtle and refined. Lovely mouth feel with a very satisfying nose of coffee and chocolate. Ample carbonation and slight bite that made this beer a one of my favorites for this year. Sad that I will have to wait until next year to get my hands on some pushkinwow (2850) - Ottawa, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
Billed as Lake of the Bays Old North Mocha Porter but assuming its under this. Pours nice brown with a ruby tinge, somewhat light, creamy biege head. Coffee grinds, lots of roasted malts, bittersweet and some milk chocolate. Mild body and moderate carbonation, slightly sweet and builds to, in my opinion, too much sweetness with more vanilla and chocolate along with a very strong roasted malt. Does not live up to the initial promise. cfrancis (3506) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2012
Pours black with a thick mocha head. aroma is coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is actually not terribly coffee centric. Nice chocolate and roasted malts. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 24, 2012
Grey Cup 2012. Very dark brown. Moderate mocha nose. Chocolate, mocha, mat body. OK. maley1 (1301) - Calgary, CANADA - NOV 24, 2012
Clear dark brown pour with large fluffy light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and very faint hint of coffee and chocolate. Taste is very muted roasted malts and cocoa, not much flavor. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel though.
