Pours golden with fizzy white head. Some interesting herbal and grain aromas. I get some unique herbal flavours... something else too.. almost medicinal. Not bad. AWS9 (746) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 30, 2013
Can. Fairly bland malty hop aroma. Nice golden pour with a foamy white head. Mild grassiness. Grainy finish, hint of apple. Okay, but doesn’t stand out from other lagers. gilvanblight (825) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2013

Lake of Bays Rock Cut Lager on Draft at Jacks Gastropub.
Yeasty hoppy scent. Lots of carbonation. Grassy notes. Very easy to drink. Light. A bit sweet. Reminds me of a European pilsner a bit. Not normally my style of beer but its rather nice on this patio in 35C heat.
Can Embrun LCBO. Looks great actually - golden dark yellow and big foamy white head. Aroma features light malt sweetness and some peppery hops. Taste - damn, was going good until now. Too sweet and slightly sour light malt. Bit of baby vomit like taste in here as well. Body is on medium end of this style. Too bad - it was promising. solidfunk (9440) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUL 13, 2013
Not quite as good as the session lager I just drank from Russia. Actually a fair bit worse. Worthy of a post 2000 rating if we could compare beer to music. Fortunately we can’t as beer has only gotten better this millennium. Tall can.

Pours a deep golden with a small white top. Aroma is sweet honey malts and grass. Taste is a little on the sweet side from the malt but overall well made beer, just not to my taste. Papillon (424) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 21, 2013
473mL Can. Light gold body with a frothy white head settling to a film leaving spotty-stringy lace. Aroma of light malts, bread crust, a hint of yeast, and grassy - resiny hops. Light in body yet stands up for itself with a flavor of light malts and an assertive component of grassy - resiny hops, an aftertaste of pear and green grapes, and a cream cheese finish that would make it pair up well with a platter of the said snacks. For a summer afternoon reception. mmacleod75 (112) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 19, 2013
Poured golden colour with fizzy carbonated head that disappeared quickly. Nothing really notable about taste. Slight sweetness. Very drinkable, but nothing memorable. Sammy (12846) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 15, 2013
Fairly basic lager. Cleaner than a macro beer, it was nothing special and only minimally drinkable. Yellow, fizzy disappearing head. Lighter than average mouthfeel.Neutral rather than beery smell. 97hill (225) - - JUN 12, 2013
Good but for sure not great, 473ml can from The Beer Store
Pours with little to no head, nice colour, cereal smell, kind of sweet.
Might be a good fall back on a hot summer day, but for sure not a go to.
These guys have put out better, nice try but not quite where this could or should be.
