Can from the brewery. Bright golden body with slight haze and creamy white head. Aroma is fairly sweet up front, with a prominent honey-on-toast character, and grassy hops that don’t quite take the edge off. Flavour is more balanced, with the cut grass and lemon peel notes of the hops taking the edge of the sweet malt. Still sweeter than I prefer from the style, but refreshing enough as long as it’s fairly cold.

Easy drinking light beer that I often drink on the golf course. Keeps everyone cool during a hot round.

Strangebrewer (1385) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 13, 2017
can. Poured clear amber with a big rocky head. Sweet malty aroma. Light body, average carbonation, crisp clean mouthfeel. Flavour is grainy, wheaty, a bit tart, peppery note, dry finish.

Gluepot (775) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2017
A really enjoyable, modern pilsner. A thin white head on a pale, clear yellow body. Nose is big on classic sweet pilsner malt, slightly fruity yeast and a touch of citrus hops. The tastes are fresh and classic with a nice citrus hop addition. Solid carbonation keeps it clean and refreshing. Nice job.

AWS9 (754) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 20, 2017
Can. Typical blonde pour, with slight bubbly head. Corn, cereal, bread and yeast. Fairly faint hops, hint of malt. Smooth finish, but a bit stale and metallic in the aftertaste. Not awful, but certainly not a standout in this field.

pushkinwow (2977) - Ottawa, CANADA - JUL 28, 2017
Can. Clear golden pour with a faint white ring remaining around the glass. Nice grainy fresh pour, slightly sweet, bit dry, becomes bit basement dweller and skunky with some lemon on finish.

Cartoonkhaki (1341) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2017
Rich golden hazy yellow with off white head. Grassy bready sweet aroma. I find that the aroma compliments the flavour with it being equally bready and grassy. Light sweet and light bitter aftertaste. Okay.

bunget (1052) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 25, 2017
Can. Hazy golden body, small white head with poor retention. Aroma of hay, grains, herbal hops and some lemon peel. Clean taste of grains, bitter grass and hits of lemons. Very enjoyable.

3.3
Metalchopz (3705) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 29, 2017
Pours a golden colour, pretty clean overall with just a tad haze. The frothy white head is big, decent lasting with some foamy lacing. Cereal grain aromas with some light grassy notes. Malty taste with some hints of honey, lemon and the hops adding some bitterness in the finish. Decent for a North-American pils, but not as refreshing as most Euro ones. A heavier, richer version.

3.4
AleRider78 (1516) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 14, 2017
473ml tallboy from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy off-white head and has a pale golden appearance. Some thick dirty lacing remains. Pretty good retention. Lively carbonation. Aromas of sweet and bready malts, subtle notes of pine. Flavours are mostly the grainy and sweet malts but with a little bit of fruity notes but fairly faint. Average slightly wet mouthfeel. Quite enjoyable.
