473ml dented can. For all our alum we salute you when days of hockey were tough and you didn’t do much to mess with that. Grainy, slightly tart aroma, basic. Flavor is basic lager, not great, even though i like the thought behind it, it doesn’t do much. And the alumni association will be filled with a bunch of wusses anyways in a few years, this one is for Wendel and Scott Stevens. Sammy (12725) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 27, 2016
Virtually undrinkable ale yellow fizzy stuff, on tap at craft. Dry. Missing taste and all of the usual boxes. jercraigs (10867) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2014
2014-07-14. Golden amber body with a nice white head. 3+ Sort of caramel sweet malt notes in the aroma. Something I can’t quite place. Flavour is similar, odd sort of toasty caramel malt, on the sweet side. Average plus bodied palate. Okay. Overheard: "I used to drive tanks... I think I can handle the Gardiner."
Pale golden pour with a thin fast-fading white head. The aroma has a bit of soft sweetness and some clean pale malt along with a bit of earthy bitterness. A fairly dirty ferment actually with some definite higher alcohols as well a bit of lingering sweetness. Like a low-gravity malt liquor. czar (9417) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 7, 2014
pours clear pale yellow with a small white cap, little retention, no lacing. grainy malts, light corny notes, herbal-grassy, light flowery notes, tomatoes, faint fruitiness - grape juice as in no lager fruitiness, slightly chalky, candied lemon and ginger. moderate to low carbonation, light body - watery, bland herbal-grassy finish. weak brew but not horrid either. Base: crystal clear, golden.
Palate : medium bodied, mid carbonation, slightly oily top.
Taste: malty base with nutty hop profile, slight apple fruit tartness. A bit of dry astringent ending.
473ml can from an LCBO in Toronto. A headless amber pour; malty aroma; malty taste; with the slightest hint of hops. Not particularly pleasant. Boutip (6533) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 12, 2014
Can: Poured a light golden color lager with a medium size foamy head with minimal retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light sweet notes with very subtle cereal notes. Taste is quite bland with light sweet notes and some very subtle notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Bland tasting lager which might appeal to their target audience.
