Can. Cloudy dirty pink body, small pinkish head with average retention. Aroma of fermented berries, grains, apples and jam. Taste of fermented berries, booze, herbs, sugary malts. Poorly made.

Pours reddish gold with a small white wisp. Aroma is light grain and fruity blueberry. Taste is thin blueberry sweetness with a light grain backing. A little over carbonated but acceptable beer.

ComradeK (1197) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 19, 2016
Draught at the brewery, at 7.1% ABV. Pours a hazy purplish amber, with a small white head, which neither lasts well nor leaves any lacing. The aroma has some blueberry fruit, along with light caramel malt and faint grassy hops. Mild grassy hops up front give way to sweet blueberry fruit, caramel and cake malt in the mid-palate. The finish has a little more blueberry. Not really inspiring, but decent.

Murky pink-amber colour with a pinkish small head that dont last long and no lacing is left. Fruity sweet nose with hints of sourness and chocolate. The sourness also felt at first in the taste is reminiscent of infected beer. Not sure what the rest of the flavours really is?? Not much blueberries here. Some fruitiness, but not a well-balanced brew at all. More like "Forgotten Blueberries".

473 ml can. 7.1%. (LCBO) Thunder Bay, ON.
Hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet malt, blueberry muffin and sugar in the aroma. The flavor is... unpleasant. I dont like blueberries but thats not the only problem here. Its also quite bad beer.

can 7.5%. Poured hazy amber with a pink hue, thin head. Aroma is sweet, caramel notes. Medium body, creamy carbonation, tart sticky finish. Semi-sweet flavour, wheat malt, tart bitter citrus flavour, herbal hops, a little yeasty.

Pours a light purple color. Has a little bit of berries in the aroma. Taste is slightly fruity, with a little bit of honey. Doesnt taste like 6.8%

can. pours almost cloudy purplish with a scarce off-white cap offering minimal retention and lacing. faint tart-ish berries, some blueberries i guess, chalky red-purple fresh prunes, blue grapes, entire blueberry tree - very astringent/tannic, some dusty cheese, lots of pepper. moderate carbonation - slightly foamy though; light body - oily; tart and warming spicy finish. an interesting strong blueberry ale with prominent astringency/bitterness. o-k.

Canned. The aroma is musty, the body brown and the head medium and off-white. The taste is good but too sweet.

I liked it but not as much as the Sultana Gold that they had. It is uniquely flavoured and the colour is there but I wouldnt have guessed blueberries.
