Well I usually like this type of beer, but for some reason i don’t like this interpretation of the style very much. I cant place my fonger on why. Oh well.. Still a decent beer. scottw86 (1179) - Maryland, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Bottle. Aroma has some good banana and german yeast notes with some pale malts. Taste is a little thin, but it is smooth. A little bit too sweet, but the finish has a good amount of fruity notes with banana and oranges. Overall decent, but a little thin. Aroma strong banana character with sweet malty base. Clear, fresh and pleasant. 7+
Appearance mid haze on amber with medium plus sized white top.3+
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Grainy , sweet with plenty of clove that was bit harsh (almost sour in feel). Slight cellar smoky feel followed. Aroma promised much more harmonious rounded wheat character than flavor did.
Pours cloudy from bottle with only an inch of foam that doesn’t leave much lacing. The nose has a bit of a funk to it that’s off-putting. There’s some slight hints of banana on the tongue. The finish is a bit dry. Not a good hefe by any measure. alobar (3966) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Cloudy straw yellow color with a white rim head. Aroma of wheat, banana, lemon, and clove. Wheat, lemon, and clove hit the palate upfront with a hint of banana. Not bad at all for the style.

poured a cloudy golden blond color with a thin white head that needed a little more retention and lace, but was still nice. Aroma had a nice spicy profile to it pepper and clove mix with some citrus. Initial flavor was of bread which gave way to a delicate spice quality was finishing with a nice lemon note. Body was smooth and medium bodied. Growler filled at Malt & Market. More gold than yellow, hazy, big head that doesn’t last. Faint banana and clove, some citric tang as well. Definitely German yeast and not American. A little too fizzy; it cuts into the flavor. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 29, 2011
A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a finger of crisp white head atop. The head fades down fairly quickly to a thin layer leaving behind some spots of lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of wheat and citrus fruits (lemon and orange). There are also some spices that are very noticeable in the nose.
T - Starts off with some wheat flavor and some lemon flavor as well. There is just a bit of banana in th background as well that grows. Through the middle, some stronger banana and spices come out. The finish is a mix of lemon and wheat flavors that linger nicely.
M - Medium-light bodied with moderate lively carbonation. Feels really smooth and crisp. The finish has a nice amount of sweetness and is fairly clean and refreshing.
D - Very drinkable. The banana flavor is really nice and everything feels really balanced. The finish is really clean and only a bit of wheat flavor. Lubiere (14240) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 21, 2010
A turbid blondish hefeweizen with a thick white head. In aroma, light bananas, cloves, a bit of funk. In mouth, a sweetish hefeweizen with a light body, a bit of berries, refreshing and milkey. On tap at brewpub, July 18 2010. beerwench85 (1) - USA - DEC 16, 2009 does not count
One of the best hefe I’ve ever had. slightly heavy on the cirtus. It’s second only to homebrew!
