Vermont Brewers Fest ’07. Pale yellow/cloudy beer. Soapy aroma up front. Light spice and a bit of peach but no banana character. Heavily carbonated with very faint light clove. A bit of wheatiness. Thin/gassy beer with more soapy flavour on the back. Meh. A definite low point on the days tastings. blipp (9899) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 2, 2011

9/23/11. 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie! Hazy orange pour with a small khaki head that fades to a ring that laces a teensy bit. Slight citrus notes in the aroma with definite phenolics and a touch of creamy banana. Lightish flavor, plenty of wheaty citrus tang, a bit of creamy banana, and less phenolics than the aroma. Not bad, but a bit light, and not as creamy or complex as my favorite Germans.
