worth the trip to Blue Tusk if just for this. Hoppiness and spicyness worked. An over-the-top pale, like an IPA. Nice copper brown colour, grapefruit spicy loral aroma. Dry and bitter aftertaste

This is an incredible beer. Very hoppy. An almost overwhelming hop hit that is followed by just the perfect punch of bitter. Slightly better than doggie style and a step above 60 min.

GOlden ale with a nice hoppy resinous aroma. Deep malts dance with citrusy hops and light nuts. Medium bodied. Pleasant IPA.

jimmack (1223) - Nutley, New Jersey, USA - OCT 16, 2004
Amber/copper color with a small off white head. Big hop aroma with hints of citrus and pine. Nice hop flavor with just enough malt in the background for balance.

Slightly hazy orange-amber. Tan finger of foam. Fresh, hoppy aroma of citrus & pine. Sticky, resiny feel. Firm, nicely balanced, big hoppy flavour. Crisp finish.

Sample from a growler. Medium orange color, white head. Big hop aroma, slight alcohol as well. Some firm malt backs up the big hoppy bitterness, a bit of alcohol again as well. Crisp, dry, bitter finish on a medium to full body. Very well done.

Hoppy, and pine in the aroma, deep amber, small toffee head. Hops are the predominant taste, followed by some fine malt. Full bodied, well balanced, crispy. Fine example!

Buffalo Brewfest 04. Well, I went in to this fest with a dislike for the trend towards overhopped American pales, but I came away with an appreciation of the style after a couple of great examples, including this one. Dark orange pours, huge citrus hop nose. Lots more in the taste, just a tad thin I suppose. Overall, a very good beer from what seems like a pretty solid brewery.

Big aroma. Malty, hoppy, slightly alcoholic. Flavor is sweet but really well balanced with alcohol and awsome hoppiness. Nice.

Tap. Pleasant hoppy/malt aroma. Medium bodied. Pleasant hop finish. Very well done IPA.
