Poured from a 12oz bottle a brownish orange with a big thick tan head. Aroma was full in citrus hops. Flavor was full citrus hops with the wonderful grapefruit taste, a touch of malt was hiding in there also HopBackDoc (474) - Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 24, 2006
Poured from the bottle a deep amber with an aroma of hops and a pillowy head. Very nicely balanced flavor, with the hops attacking the taste buds followed by a malty sweetness and finishing with a slight bitterness. A very delicious beer. I only wish I had bought more than just one. TheKegergator (241) - California, USA - FEB 9, 2007
Pours almost perfect. Nice medium dark amber that forms a thick foam head that hangs on for the whole ride down. Smell is there, good, jsut not up to par for an IPA. THe taste mimics the smell, very good, just not up to snuff for an IPA. Very drinkable, markgugs (86) - Wood Ridge, New Jersey, USA - FEB 26, 2007

A: A radiant ruby with a huge, frothy, pillowy head. Beer leaves massive lacing throughout its consumption.
S: A sharp minty smell meets strong, zest lemon/grapefruit hoppiness. Add in some light bread scents and you have quite a pleasant-smelling beer.
T/M: A delicious layered cluster of nutty, sweet malts kick things off, melt into robust citrus & grapefruit hops, which take you home to a balanced, bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel is delightfully oily on top of medium-bodied creaminess. Very well done all around.
D: Beer develops even as you drink it, forcing eagerness for each next stip. Goes down real easy, too easy actually. Recommended for certain! RCL (2032) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 5, 2008
Very nice IPA. Rich aroma mostly dominated by malts. Flavor has some more nice malts with a restrained burst of hops on the finish. Leans to the sweet side.

One of the better IPAs I’ve had. It’s a bit darker than the average IPA and has a bit more malts than the more bitter ones. Still though, great hop finish and a bit of bitterness as well. An excellent beer. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - NOV 16, 2009
in bottle @ GIBF, really nice IPA from a brewer that I am liking more and more. not overbearing, just the right amount of body and character, could use a little more citrus to combat the pine taste, but very nice. BREWMUSKCLES (2759) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 7, 2010
creamy like a British ale complete with a creamy and foamy head that dissapates over a couple of minutes. sweet, malty, full of grapefruit but not harsh in any way. looks like tea. good chalky, caramel, oilcan flavor comes in from time to time. this is a real ipa 100% with no hint of alcohol it was a pleasure to drink. bit of butterscotch in the aroma. on tap at brewpub. clear bright medium dark golden with a very nice light beige head, excellent retention and lacing. crisp malts, light toastiness, tons of fruity esters, some tropical notes, along with citrus explosion. average carbonation, some fizz, medium body - oily, nicely balanced grapefruiy finish, touch of alcohol. a very good brew!
