Bottle:   Somewhat of a herbal spiced Pumpkin.   Almost a bit too much in that it reminds me of a spiced candle.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Falls off somewhat quickly.   Very slight apple cider like background.   Tiz alright, thankfully not overly done with that fake candle spices. Weird balance on tongue. Thin head. Malt with strong herb spice flavor. Malt forward also with nutmeg aroma. Decent but not spectacular shrubber85 (11402) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 19, 2014

bottle split with wife pours deep amber quick tan head. nose is subdued but has elements of roasted malt and pumpkin pie spices. taste follows with light pumpkin. body is medium but has flashes of wateriness. Voodoo (667) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 28, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2013 Pours a near opaque deep brown with a fluffy off white head which lingers. Aroma is nutmeg, maltiness, allspice. Taste is a touch thin as far as mouthfeel, quite a bit over carbed with slight graininess (astringency).....nutmeg makes the trip, pumpkin strains to make an appearance.....a bit disappointing. Actually quite a bit disappointing as this should have been a great experience. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - SEP 23, 2013
Bottled. Dark brown. Cinnamon nutmeg and pumpkin. Malty brown ale with pumpkins. Some astringency which I didn’t dig. OK. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2013
This brew pours very dark with an dark brown head. Looks better than it tastes, but its still pretty good. Worth a try and definitely above the norm. ChazyRPh (583) - Chazy, New York, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Seasonal rendition of their excellent English Strong Ale. In the glass, looks just like an Ubu. Very muted aroma, which I thought was strange. I was expecting some spices. Pumpkin flavor also muted, which is ok by me, since I don’t care for the over the top pumpkin brews. Delicious maltiness with a hint of pumpkin and clove/allspice, Well done.
